Not to disappoint the fans, the makers of Allu Arjun’s Sarrainodu decided to host a grand pre release function in Visakhapatnam on April 10th. This announcement came close on heels after they confirmed that the audio songs will be released directly into the market without any hungama.
 
It is learnt that lavish arrangements are being made to make this event a grand success. A close source to the production house revealed that they are spending a fortune on this event which is likely to be graced by thousands of fans from both the Telugu states. More than one crore is being spent on this pre release function which will take place in RK Beach. The core members of the team will attend the event.
 
In the meantime, the audio songs which were released yesterday have been getting a thumping response from the music lovers. SS Thaman scored the soundtrack for the film. The Boyapati Srinu directional has Rakul Preet Singh and Catherine Tresa as the female leads. The film is slated to hit the screens on April 22nd.

Choreographer turns producer for Milky beauty’s next

You would have heard quite frequently on how the most challenging and thankless job in the cinema industry is that of a producer. It is because this involves money. Despite that, there are those who have that passion towards cinema and want to come up with at least one movie using their own money.
 
In that process, one choreographer has now joined the club of producers. His name is Shiva Turlapati and he was the dance choreographer for the recent releases Geetanjali and Sankarabharanam. Vijay is also running a dance school in America. He has now launched a banner named Blue Circle Corporation.
 
News is that he is coming with a new movie called Abhinetri in association with star writer Kona Venkat. The other producer for this is Arun Vaddepalli and this would have the milky white beauty Tamannah as the leading lady, as per sources. Here’s wishing the best of success to Vijay and team.

Venkatesh Babu Bangaram Overseas Rights Sold
Victory Venkatesh is back to the pace again after Gopala Gopala with Maruthi directorial venture Babu Bangaram. The shooting of the movie is going on at a brisk pace. 
 
From the past few days, there are many speculations about Venkatesh’s look in the film. However, now all the speculations are cleared with this first look. Seen here in the above pic, Venkatesh is looking in a simple yet stylish avatar. It looks like the film is completely a family entertainer. 
 
Venaktesh’s lucky mascot Nayantara is teaming up with him for the third time after Lakshmi and Tulasi. The expectations on the film are quite high as both Maruthi and Venakesth have a good reputation of delivering entertaining subjects  and family emotions. 
 
The movie also features Brahmanandam, Brahmaji, Vennala Kishore in the supporting roles. The film is being produced by urya Devara Naga Vamsi,  and the editing works will be managed by S. B. Uddhav. Babu Bangaram is slated to hit the screens in June.

Since the last few days, some very wrong info has been circulating in Tollywood about the remake rights of Oopiri and some very big media houses have also fallen prey to this misinformation.
 
After registering solid acclaim, the movie Oopiri caught the attention of filmmakers across the country. This included Karan Johar, who wanted to make the film in Hindi. This led to the rumours about Karan acquiring the rights of Oopiri.
 
Interestingly, Karan Johar has no need of acquiring the remake rights of Oopiri. The movie is a remake of the french film ‘The Intouchables’ and Karan Johar acquired the India remake rights for this movie a long time ago! So, PVP Cinema actually acquired the rights from this Bollywood personality.
 
Oopiri is indeed going to be remade in Hindi by Karan Johar and Vamshi Paidipally may get a chance to direct the movie if everything goes according to plan.

Rajamouli’s period epic Baahubali is going to come out in 2017 as a bigger and grander sequel to the hugely successful ‘Baahubali – The Beginning’. This movie is currently on sets and regular shooting is expected to continue until the end of the year.
 
Unlike the first part which only had one overseas schedule in Bulgaria, this version reportedly has multiple overseas scheduled that are currently being worked out. These areas will most probably be used for action sequences and songs.
 
Prabhas has been bulking up for this film and he will be seen with a more muscled body in this version. Produced by Arka Mediaworks, Baahubali has music from Keeravani.

Overseas markets for Telugu films have become a crucial factor now, with their multi million dollar revenues. As a result, producers and directors are catering to this market, to make sure that their film is ‘overseas friendly’.
 
Among the very few directors who can pull crowds to the theaters, irrespective of the hero, is Krish. Right from his film ‘Gamyam’, he has been making a name for himself and his films tend to do well abroad.
 
All of this is bringing in unexpected benefits for Balakrishna for his upcoming 100th movie. The film will be directed by Krish and because it is a period epic, Balakrishna is expected to ace the role. As a result, expectations on the film are already increasing in trade circles.
 
According to reliable info, a bumper offer of 2.75 Crores has been made for the US rights of this movie. This has happened even before the film started rolling and this is a superb figure for Balakrishna, whose overseas market is very limited.

The censor formalities for Pawan Kalyan’s Sardar Gabbar Singh have been wrapped up with a U/A certificate. The film is all set for a grand release on April 8th.
 
The unit is currently shooting for its final schedule in Switzerland. Kajal Aggarwal is playing the film’s leading lady. Power fame Bobby is directing the film and Pawan Kalyan’s close friend Sharat Marar is producing it.
 
Devi Sri Prasad composed the tunes and the audio is getting a superb response from the music lovers. Pawan Kalyan penned the story and screenplay for the film.

After the unimaginable success of her recent bilingual film Oopiri, Milky beauty Tamannaah is eagerly looking forward for her upcoming trilingual film in AL Vijay’s direction. The Telugu version has now been titled as Abhinetri. Interestingly, it’s the first time in her career that Tamannaah has acted in a thriller. 
 
While Tamannaah is playing one of the lead roles, the film also stars multi talented Prabhu Deva along with the chiseled hunk Sonu Sood in pivotal roles. The principal shooting of the film began few months ago, and recently, it was extensively shot in Maharashtra. 
 
With a title like Abhinetri, it remains to be seen what all Tamannaah has pulled off in the film. While Prabhu Deva is producing the Tamil Version, ace writer Kona Venkat is presenting it in Telugu. The music for this will be by the duo of GV Prakash Kumar and Thaman. Abhinetri’s team has some decorated technicians such as Bollywood cinematographer Manush Nandan, National award winning editor Anthony.
