It is not much of an issue when civilians like us get involved in some incident which goes to the police. But the attention and intensity is more when it involves a film celebrity. It also tends to impact their career sometimes. Now, one director has again hit the headlines for wrong reasons.
 
His name is Sushanth Reddy and sometime ago, his name came into spotlight owing to a drugs related case in Hyderabad. Sushanth is the director of the film Superstar Kidnap which came after many obstacles. Now, Sushanth has hit the news again because he got arrested by the cops.
 
It is heard that Sushanth got into one fight at a hotel he bashed up few people and got arrested. Previously, it was drugs and now it is violence. He was taken to Jubilee Hills police station and he might go to Charlapally or Chanchalguda jail for remand. Not sure why he is doing such things but it sure is putting Sushanth in a very bad light.

Now, the time has come for the fresh edition of SIIMA to take place and this time the venue has been locked as Singapore. The tradition of conducting SIIMA in international venues continues and the dates are also locked. The event will take place on June 30th and July 1.
 
As the format suggests, one day will have two industries awards ceremony and it would have the who’s who of all the four woods of south cinema. Since Singapore is also the hotbed for many Tamilians, the Kollywood awards evening is going to be quite engaging, as per organizers.

Prabodh, brother of  Young Rebel Star Prabhas, was sentenced to one year imprisonment in a cheque bounce case. According to reports, Rajendranagar magistrate court gave its verdict in a case where UVSS Prabodh issued a cheque for Rs 43 lakh to a businessman towards a payment, but it bounced due to lack of funds in his account.
 
The court sentenced Prabodh to one year imprisonment and ordered him to pay 80 lakhs within two months from the date of the judgement. Prabodh has two months time to clear the fine to evade imprisonment and further complications. Well, we need to wait and see if Prabhas will come to the rescue of his brother.
 
Meanwhile, Prabhas is currently shooting for Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 in the specially erected set in Ramoji Film City. An action episode is being canned on Prabhas with a group of artists. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on April 14th, 2017.

TV anchor commits suicide

An young anchor, who is working in a popular music channel, committed suicide in the wee hours of today. Going into details, anchor Nirosha was found dead on her hostel room in secunderabad. According to the police, Nirosha, who anchors shows on a popular Hyderabad-based music channel, staying in a working women’s hostel in Secunderabad. 
 
On Tuesday night, she had a huge argument with her fiance, with whom she got engaged few days ago. She spoke to him over video call and after a heated argument, she suddenly snapped the conversation saying she was committing suicide. Her body was found dead in her hostel room in the morning. 
 
The police began investigating into the causes that led her to commit suicide after video call with her fiance. However, it is learnt that Nirosha’s wedding is expected to take place next month.

In its last schedule, the unit canned a romantic number featuring Bunny and Rakul Preet Singh in the rich locales of Boliva.
 
Action entertainers specialist Boyapati Srinu is the director and Allu Aravind is producing the film on Geetha Arts banner. The post production work will kick start very soon and the audio launch will take place shortly. SS Thaman composed the soundtrack for the film.
 
It is learnt that Allu Arjun will be seen as a body guard to Catherine Tresa who plays an MLA in the film. Powerstar Pawan Kalyan began his eventful acting career by choosing youthful subjects with comedy and fun. It was only much later he ventured into action based films with heavy dialogues and stunts. One such youthful entertainers which took Pawan Kalyan to superstardom is none other than Kushi which released in the year 2001.
 
Kushi was a memorable film for Pawan fans directed by Tamil filmmaker SJ Suryah. Now when the duo teamed up after a debacle like Komaram Puli, fans naturally expected Kushi 2. But latest reports reveal that it is not Kushi 2 but indeed Tamil superhit Vedhalam Telugu remake.

Sometime back, it was heard that Pawan Kalyan will team up with SJ Suriya for the sequel to blockbuster film, Khusi. Although there was no official news on this interesting project, speculations were rife in the media that the pre production work has commenced and SJ has already started working on the script.
 
As per the latest update, the music settings for this sequel are currently underway. It is learnt that SJ Surya has roped in Anup Rubens to compose the soundtrack and popular lyric writer Ram Jogayya Shastri is penning the lyrics for the album.
 
Pawan Kalyan and SJ Surya will be working together for the third time after Khusi and Puli. More details about this project will be revealed very soon.

The makers of Pawan Kalyan’s Sardar Gabbar Singh have decided to release the film in Hindi. A close source to the producer confirmed that the film will be dubbed into Hindi and will hit the screens on the same day ( April 8th) along with the Telugu version.
 
The shooting is on the verge of completion and the post production work is also going on simultaneously. The audio launch will take place on the 20th of this month in Hyderabad.
