Baahubali 2 in fight mode at RFC
India’s biggest motion picture Baahubali, which stormed the worldwide box office with its first installment, will be aiming to repeat a similar story when the much awaited ‘Conclusion’ hits the screens in April 2017. The shooting for the second chapter commenced last December and the unit has already wrapped two crucial schedules. They shot some important scenes in Kerala recently.
The fresh schedule commenced in Ramoji Film City and currently a fight sequence is being canned in the Wood Lands of the film city. Hotshot choreographer Keecha is composing the stunts for this sequence which features Prabhas and a group of fighters. SS Rajamouli is going all out to make this part a bigger hit than the first one. The first look teaser is likely be out for Dusheera.
The film also features Rana, Tamannaah, Ramya Krishna and few others in important roles. Arka Media Works is bankrolling the film.

Puri to direct Bollywood star hero?

Puri Jagannadh is undoubtedly one of the most powerful directors of Tollywood right now. His strong characterizations, thought provoking dialogues and impressive story telling abilities took him to this stage. The director is currently doing a film called Rogue and at the same time preparing for his second stint in Bollywood as well.
He already made a Bollywood debut with Big B Amitabh Bachchan in Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap and the film performed well at the Box Office. Puri was obviously waiting for the right time and now he narrated a script to Bollywood’s macho hero Sanjay Dutt who recently released from jail.
Sources also say that Sanjay Dutt was mightily impressed with Puri’s narration and given the nod for the project! It is also said that Puri crafted such a role for Sanjay Dutt that it was never done by the actor earlier. Hope Puri recreates the magic which he created with Bbuddah.

Veteran actor Jagapathi Babu is on a high in his second innings. He is now one of the most in-demand artists in South India at present. The actor, we hear, has reportedly been signed up to play the antagonist in Tamil superstar Vijay’s next film which will be directed by Bharathan.
It is learnt that Jagapathi Babu’s style statement and powerful performances in recent times has been the clincher. A close source revealed that the veteran actor will play a merciless baddie in the film. Vijay, who is awaiting the release of his upcoming film Theri, will commence shooting for this film in May.
Jagapathi Babu has also been roped in for the villain’s role in Malayalam legendary actor Mohan Lal’s new film Puli Murugan.

Interesting shoot details of Saardar Gabbar Singh

The talkie part of Pawan Kalyan’s forthcoming actioner Sardar Gabbar Singh will be wrapped up in the next few days. Currently, the unit is busy canning the climax portion in Hyderabad. A heavy duty action sequence is being shot under the supervision of Ram – Laxman. Soon after completing this schedule, the unit will head to Europe for its final schedule.
A couple of songs featuring Pawan Kalyan and Kajal Aggarwal will be shot in Switzerland. In the meantime, grand arrangements for the audio launch event are underway. The makers are planning to unveil the audio on the 18th of this month. The venue is yet to be confirmed. The post production has already commenced and the unit is confident that the movie will be ready for April 8th release.
Bobby is the director for the film and Pawan himself penned the story and screenplay. Sharrat Marar is the producer and Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer.

We had already reported that Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s Sarrainodu unit has flew down to Bolivia for a song shoot and much to the dismay of the makers, a song titled MLA…MLA…from the film has been reportedly leaked yesterday. The makers have identified few links, got them suspended and later approached police. However, the culprit behind the leak hasn’t been identified yet.
Geetha Arts has lodged a complaint in the Cyberabad Police Station regarding the leak and requested netizens to refrain from using any link with the Song name in any manner from any source. In case of any failure, they are supposed to face legal consequences.
Recently, some shots from Sardaar Gabbar Singh movie have been leaked. These online leaks have become the biggest challenge of filmmakers. Well, let us not encourage any such malpractices

Akhil makes sensational comments about Oopiri

Akkineni scion Akhil Akkineni made some interesting comments on Oopiri movie and especially on his dad Nagarjuna’s role in this movie. Akkineni Princes Chaitanya and Akhil attended Oopiri trailer launch and talking about the movie, Akhil revealed that initially he couldn’t approve of his dad playing the role of a wealthy quadriplegic (a kind of paralysis of limbs & torso) in the movie.
Akhil added that himself and Chaitanya opposed Nag’s decision to accept this role because Nag had to be in the wheelchair for the entire movie. Now after watching Oopiri trailer he felt that his dad is absolutely right about this film and they both even thanked PVP & director Vamsi for giving such a beautiful role to their father.
Oopiri movie songs by Gopi Sunder have already increased expectations buzz on the film which shall also mark the debut of Karthi in Tollywood. Finally, Oopiri is going to hit the screens worldwide on the 25th of this March. Get ready to experience a new flavor in Telugu cinema.

Brahmostavam unit faces troubles in Varanasi

The makers of Prince Mahesh Babu starrer Brahmotsavam needed police assistance to control the frenzied crowd who went berserk upon seeing the handsome actor while shooting in one of the famous ghats in the holy city, Haridwar. Scores of devotees, who came to took holy bath on the eve of Shivarathri, noticed Mahesh Babu and Samantha shooting at a close proximity and tried to get close glimpse of them.
A close source to the unit revealed that it was very difficult for them to manage the crowd and finally took assistance from the local police to bring situation under control. Some key scenes are being shot in Kasi at present. The shooting is progressing at a brisk pace and the makers are planning to release the film in May.
Kajal Aggarwal and Pranitha Subhash are the other female leads in the film. Srikanth Addala is directing this family drama and Prasad V Potluri is producing it on PVP Cinema banner. Mickey J Meyer is scoring the soundtrack.
