It is already a known fact that the budding actor Sundeep Kishan and Nithya Menen have teamed up for a unique romantic entertainer titled ‘Okka Ammayi Thappa’. The film’s talkie part has been wrapped up. Two songs will be shot abroad and one song will be shot in India. With this, the film’s shooting will be complete.
 
The movie is being directed by Rajasimha Thadinada and he is making his debut with this project. He has worked as a writer for many successful films in the past. The film has about 1 and a half hours of graphics and a specialflyover set was erected for the making of these scenes. Ravi Kishan is going to be seen as the villain.
 
This is a commercial entertainer with a unique plot. Chota K Naidu’s cinematography is a big asset. The film also features Ali,Ajay, Thanikella Bharani, Brahmaji, Rao Ramesh, Rahul Dev, Saptagiri, Thagubothu Ramesh, Nalini and other senior actors in pivotal roles. The film will hit the screens in mid April.

Sometime back, we reported that Varun Tej will join hands with creative filmmaker Krish for an interesting spy thriller titled Rayabhari. 
 
The pre production work has commenced recently and the core team members have already zeroed in on a few unexplored locations to can major portion of the film.
 
The formal launch and the regular shooting were supposed to commence in a few days, but the latest reports from close sources to the unit reveal that the project will be delayed due to the delay in getting the permission from the concerned authorities for shooting in those locales and the glitches in technicalities relating to the pre production work. The exact date of launch will be announced very soon.

Budding actor Naga Shaurya’s upcoming family entertainer, Kalyana Vibhogame, has been in the news since a long time. The shooting has been wrapped up sometime back and the release was postponed on a couple of occasions.
 
According to the fresh update , the film has been confirmed to hit the screens on March 4th. Nandini Reddy is the director for this film which features Pearle Maaney and Malavika Nair as the female leads. Kalyan Koduri composed the tunes and the audio was unveiled recently. Damodhar Reddy is the film’s producer.
 
Leading distribution company Abhishek Pictures acquired the worldwide theatrical rights of the film.

There was a time when Indian cinema was stuck with the standard genres such as action, romance, thriller, horror, comedy but with passing time some permutations and combinations have begun happening on the genres. This led to some interesting movies.
 
While that is true, there is one genre which is rarely seen in Indian cinema, it is the zombie horror genre. This is quite popular in Hollywood but not here. So far, the only movie which came with that subject was the Bollywood flick Go Goa Gone. But now, another one has come up.
 
According to reports, the rare film is all set to hit the screens on February 19th and it’s original is made in Tamil. This is titled as Miruthan and the Telugu version is titled as Yamapaasam. This has Jayam Ravi as the hero along with Lakshmi Menon. Let us see how the audience receives this.

Going into the details, happening music director Thaman is going to give live concerts in US in the month of March. Thaman is planning 8 live concerts in 8 cities across the US on the eve of Ugadhi season.
As a part of it, Thaman and team came up with a special promo teaser about his US Tour. This special teaser video features Thaman playing his favorite drums and is simply rocking. It was released by Bunny yesterday on the eve of Valentine’s Day and the teaser pays their respect to him in the very beginning.

Super Star Rajinikanth’s upcoming flick Kabali, which was slated to hit the theaters in April 2016, but the movie has been postponed and the release date is yet to be finalized.
 
According to the reports, Rajinikanth himself had requested the filmmakers to postpone the movie for a while. However, the makers of Kabali have revealed that they have decided to postpone the movie due to the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections. 
 
Releasing a movie during the time of elections might just affect the collections at the box office which is the reason, Kabali will be releasing after the elections. An official confirmation about the same is still awaited. Kabali features Radhika Apte as leading lady in the movie being helmed by Pa Ranjith.

Promising actor Aadi’s latest romantic action entertainer Garam released on Friday.  Directed by Madan, the movie has been produced by Saikumar under the banner RK Studio and released in 360 screens in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana with the total of 460 to 500 theatres all over the world. 
 
The movie garnered mixed reactions but the promos and the hype surrounding the movie is expected to rake in good business. Garam covered 40% of advanced bookings and collected Rs 3 crores at the box office on its opening day.  The movie also futures Adha Sharma in lead role and Brahmanadam, Tanikella Bharani and Naresh in crucial roles.
