Speculations comes to an end about Jai Lava Kusa cinematographer exit

Well-known cinematographer CK Muraleedharan chose to opt out of Jr NTR’s upcoming Telugu dram ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ due to date issues and not because of an ego clash with director KS Ravindra (Bobby). It was widely reported that Muraleedharan and Bobby had a fallout following which the former exited the film.

“It’s true Muraleedharan has exited the project and has been replaced by Chhota K. Naidu. Contrary to rumours, he didn’t leave the project over an alleged ego clash with the director. He left because he had other commitments and he couldn’t juggle them,” said sources close to the unit.

Known for his work in films such as ‘PK’ and ‘3 Idiots’, Muraleedharan had worked on the project for a few days. The film, which features Jr NTR in a triple role, is being produced by his brother Kalyan Ram under the banner NTR Arts.

For one of his roles, Jr. NTR will be seen wearing prosthetic and his look is being handled by Hollywood make-up artist Vance Hartwell, popular for his work in films such as ‘The Lord of the Rings’ trilogy and ‘Shutter Island’. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music, while Raashi Khanna and Nivetha Thomas are playing the leading ladies. The first look of ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ will be released on Friday, on the eve of Jr NTR’s birthday.

Megastar’s next pushed to September

Megastar Chiranjeevi is quite cautious and is focussed on his next project Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. Surendar Reddy along with his team is working on the dialogue version of the movie which will be wrapped up soon. After the grand success of Baahubali: The Conclusion, Megastar decided the film to be made in a grand manner and on a lavish budget.

Hence the movie’s shoot has been pushed to August initially and it will be launched officially on August 22nd on the occasion of Chiranjeevi’s birthday. As per the latest news, the movie unit is in no mood to hurry and the shoot of the film has been pushed to September.

An official announcement will be made soon and Megastar is not bothered about the film’s budget. Lavish sets, grand VFX and pan-indian actors are now considered for the movie. A team headed by Paruchuri Brothers are working on the script.

 Ramcharan will bankroll Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy which has been aimed for summer release next year. The movie will be shot simultaneously in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam languages.

Talented actor joins Sukumar- Ram Charan’s film

After striking an emotional chord with Nannaku Prematho, filmmaker Sukumar is now coming up with a rustic entertainer that has Ram Charan playing a hearing impaired villager. Coming from the stables of Mythri Movie Makers, the untitled film features Samantha as the heroine.

The regular shooting is progressing without any breaks despite the strong heat wave. Reportedly, Sukumar has roped in versatile actor Prakash Raj for an important role in this film. Last time, Prakash Raj worked with Sukumar for Ram’s Jagadam which released in 2007.

 Sources say that Sukumar has come up with a meaty role for the talented artist who signed the dotted line with no second thoughts. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the tunes and Ratnavelu is cranking the camera.actor

Superstar’s Chennai schedule updates

Superstar Mahesh Babu is on a summer break and he has been chilling out with his family and friends in Goa. The actor returned back to Hyderabad on Sunday and the actor will fly to Chennai today to shoot for the climax which will start from tomorrow. This AR Murugadoss’s directorial is nearing completion and it has been aimed for August release.

Mahesh has been working from the past few months without major breaks for Spyder which is said to be the costliest ever film made in his career. Touted to be an investigation thriller, Spyder presents Mahesh as an intelligence officer. Once the climax of the film will be wrapped up, couple of songs are to be shot with which the entire shoot of Spyder will be wrapped up.

 Rakul Preet Singh is romancing Mahesh for the first time in her career and Spyder will have a simultaneous release in Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam along with Telugu. NV Prasad, Tagore Madhu are bankrolling this big budget project and Reliance Entertainments is co-producing the film. An official release date of the film will be announced once the shoot of Spyder will be wrapped up.
