Mahesh Babu’s latest blockbuster family entertainer Srimanthudu, which released on 7th August, completes its 50 day run today. The film, laced with an important social message of village adoption, has been termed an all-time second highest grossing Telugu film.

As per the film’s producers,Srimanthudu is still running in close to 185 theaters across the Telugu states.Written and directed by Koratala Siva, Srimanthudu brought in a fresh lease of life for big budget commercial films, with its clever mix of art and commerce.

In Mahesh Babu’s words, Srimanthudu is the best film in his career. The film also launched two successful production companies, G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment Pvt. Ltd and Mythri Movie Makers.

Megastar to shoot for 3 days

It is a well known fact that Megastar Chiranjeevi will be playing a cameo in Ram Charan’s upcoming film Bruce Lee. He will shoot for a song and a fight sequence along with Ram Charan. Director Sreenu already announced that Megastar’s appearance will be a special treat for the audience.

Latest updates reveal that Chiranjeevi will join the unit on the 28th of this month and will shoot for 3 days to complete his part. The team is currently busy with the necessary arrangements for this schedule.

The audio launch event will be held on October 2nd and the film is slated to hit the screens on October 16th. Rakul Preet is the leading lady and DVV Danayya is producing the film. SS Thaman is the music composer.

Ram Charan is fast finishing the shooting of his upcoming action entertainer, Bruce Lee, in the direction of Srinu Vaitla.

As per the latest reports, the post production work of Bruce Lee is going on in full swing to meet the deadline. The film is slated to hit the screens on October 16th and the final schedule is currently progressing in Hyderabad . Megastar Chiranjeevi will join the unit very soon to shoot for his cameo.

Directed by Sreenu Vaitla, the film has Rakul Preet Singh as the female lead. DVV Danayya is producing the film on DVV Entertainments. SS Thaman is the music composer and the audio will be unveiled on October 2nd.

Hero Nithiin and Samantha are all set to work with acclaimed director Trivikram for the film ‘A..Aa’, Anasuya Ramalingam vs Anand Vihaari. This film will be produced on the banner of ‘Haarika and Hassine Creations and the project was formally launched today (September 24th) in Ramanaidu Studios, with a pooja ceremony at the temple.

Nithiin is teaming up with Trivikram for the first time and he is very excited about working with this ‘Wizard of Words’. For Samantha, this is her third project with the star director after ‘Attarintiki Daredhi’ and ‘S/o Satyamurthy’.

According to the production unit, regular shooting will commence from October 10th. The movie is going to hit the screens in January 2016. Popular Tamil music director Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for this movie.

It is a known fact that Premam, the Malayalam smash hit, is going to be remade in Telugu and Akkineni Naga Chaitanya will be playing the lead role.

According to the latest updates, the Telugu remake of Premam has been titled as Majnu. This official remake will be produced by senior producer S. Radha Krishna under his Haarika and Hassine Creations.

Young filmmaker Chandu Mondeti of Karthikeya fame will helm this project. In the film, Chaitanya will romance three heroines and the makers are said to be in talks with the leading senior actress for one of the female leads.

Anupama Parameswaran, who had a phenomenal debut with the Malayali industry hit Premam, has been roped in for another female lead and the makers are on a lookout for the third female lead.This project will go on floors once Chaitu completes his current film in Gautham Menon’s direction.

Analysis: First half of the film is alright. Second half has good entertainment. Climax is little dramatic. Director Harish Shankar’s entertainment elements and Dil Raju’s family values (though, there are a couple of double meaning dialogues in first half) are blended well in this movie. Plus points are Sai Dharam Tej’s energetic performance and Hari Shankar’s entertainment orientation coupled with a decent story line. It will be a feast for Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan’s fans. On a whole, Subramanyam For Sale has potential to work at box office!

Interesting characterization of hero helps the bad first half to an extent. Things get better as the story moves to India. Sai Dharam Tej will surely make an impression with this film. Mega fans will start to believe that he has potential.Climax was dealt in a melodramatic fashion which is out of sync with rest of the movie. Subramanyam For Sale isn’t a perfect film and is not a bad one either. You can watch it once for its entertainment.

From the past few days, the rumors are rife that the national award winning actress Priyamani is going to shake leg with Allu Arjun in a special song in Allu Arjun’s forthcoming film under Boyapati Srinu’s direction.

Quickly refuting these reports as mere rumors, Priyamani’s manager clarified that the actress is currently busy promoting her latest Malayalam film in the US and that she was not even approached by the makers of Allu Arjun’s film. Priyamani’s last released Telugu film was Chandee, in 2013.

Currently, a fight sequence is being canned under the supervision of the stunt masters duo Ram-Laxman. Veteran actor Srikanth, who is playing a crucial role in the film, is taking part in the shoot along with Allu Arjun. Geetha Arts banner is bankrolling the film and SS Thaman is music director.

The regular shooting of Prince Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film, Brahmotsavam, is progressing at a jet pace in Hyderabad. As per the latest update, the makers have decided to release the film on April 7th, 2016.

It is heard that the makers are planning to complete the entire shooting part by February and wrap up the post production work in March.

Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal and Pranitha Subhash are the female leads in the film and young actress Chandini Chowdary is playing an important role.

Mickey J Meyer is the music director for the film. Touted to be a touching family drama in typical Srikanth Addala style, this highly anticipated film is being produced by PVP Cinema.

Young Tiger NTR has been shooting non-stop for his upcoming film Nannaku Prematho in the direction of innovative director Sukumar. As per the latest reports, the hectic London schedule will be wrapped up by today and NTR will return to Hyderabad to take a small break.

The next schedule of Nannaku Prematho will commence from the second week of October in Spain. BVSN Prasad is producing the film in association with Reliance Entertainments. The shooting will be wrapped up by the end of December and the film will hit the screens on January 8th, 2016.

Rakul Preet is the female lead in the film and veteran actors Jagapathi Babu and Rajendra Prasad are essaying crucial roles in it. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer for the film.
