Young actor acquires Keshava distribution rights

Sharwanand has been going great guns after ‘Sathamanam Bhavati’ went on to win a national award. As per reports, he and his father had acquired business rights of a couple of films earlier and distributed them. This time around, Sharwanand along with his brother has eyed actor Nikhil Siddhartha’s upcoming movie Keshava, directed by Sudheer Varma.

They have bought the rights of the film in Andhra Pradesh for Rs 4 crore. Sharwanand has nose for good scripts be it his own film or films that has other heroes. Hope Keshava lives up to the expectations that it generated with the movie’s pre-release buzz.

Keshava is made on a strict budget of Rs 3 crore which comes in as a surprise to most of the young filmmakers and actors, given the immense response from public to the film’s teaser and trailer. The amount however is what it costed the makers excluding the remunerations of Nikhil and director Sudheer Varma.

Ritu Varma is the female lead of the movie which has actress Isha Koppikar in a prominent role. Music of the film is composed by Sunny MR. Keshava will open in theatres worldwide on May 19.

Manchu Lakshmi proved he she is good at taking crucial decisions.  She shows so much variation in choosing different characters while doing films.  Apart from films, she gives importance to social service.  She has recently acted in short film ‘The Decision’ and surprised everyone.

The theme of the short film is very good and it is getting wide appreciation from the audience.  Along with the theme, Manchu Lakshmi is getting appreciation for her acting. ‘The Decision’ is directed by Srinu Pandranki.  The theme revolves around a woman who has to take a crucial decision while giving birth to her child. While speaking about the short film she said that “It is challenging for any artiste to do a character with multiple shades.  I was bowled out by the storyline as a mother.  Every parent will have something to take from this short film”.

Manchu Lakshmi appears in a role, where the woman lost her pregnancy due to an abortion.  She conceives again later.  But doctors say that her child might suffer with Down’s syndrome… so she has to take a decision whether to go for the child or go for abortion.  Manchu Lakshmi has wonderfully portrayed the confusion of a mother-to-be.  ‘The Decision’ is produced by Vishwa Prasad and Anup Rubens scored music.

Superstar Mahesh Babu is on a summer break and he has been chilling out with his family and friends in Goa. The actor returned back to Hyderabad on Sunday and the actor will fly to Chennai today to shoot for the climax which will start from tomorrow. This AR Murugadoss’s directorial is nearing completion and it has been aimed for August release.

Mahesh has been working from the past few months without major breaks for Spyder which is said to be the costliest ever film made in his career. Touted to be an investigation thriller, Spyder presents Mahesh as an intelligence officer. Once the climax of the film will be wrapped up, couple of songs are to be shot with which the entire shoot of Spyder will be wrapped up.

 Rakul Preet Singh is romancing Mahesh for the first time in her career and Spyder will have a simultaneous release in Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam along with Telugu. NV Prasad, Tagore Madhu are bankrolling this big budget project and Reliance Entertainments is co-producing the film. An official release date of the film will be announced once the shoot of Spyder will be wrapped up.

Prabhas starrer Baahubali-The Conclusion is smashing at the box office and every weekend the number is doubling than industry sources expectations. Sources inform that Baahubali 2 has minted 1400 Cr worldwide in seventeen days. Industry sources predict that Baahubali 2 is likely to enter Rs.1500 mark at the global box office by end of this week.

Actor Pawan Kalyan, lately has been choosing remakes over fresh subjects. However, not every movie has garnered him immense success with the exception of Gabbar Singh.

According to the latest reports, the actor now has signed up another remake. This one is of the Bollywood hit Jolly LLB 2 starring Akshay Kumar. The movie revolving around small-time lawyer who fights for justice grossed over Rs 100 crore at the domestic Box Office.

It is learnt that the court-room drama has impressed Pawan Kalyan particularly the screenplay and execution.  Producer S Radhakrishna of Haarika and Haasine Creations has bagged the remake rights and will be producing this movie. At a time when the regular shooting of NTR’s forthcoming action film Jai Lava Kusa is progressing smoothly, the sudden walk out of cinematographer C.K. Muraleedharan caused a huge setback for the film.

According to the latest update from reliable media sources, the PK and 3 Idiots cinematographer has backed out from the project due to other commitments. It is learnt that the makers have roped in Chota K Naidu as the replacement.

Directed by K.S. Ravindra aka Bobby , the film stars Nivedha Thomas and Rashi Khanna as the female leads. The first look poster will be out on May 19th as a special treat for NTR’s birthday. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is producing this big budget entertainer.

Coinciding with the birthday of Mahesh’s father Superstar Krishna, a striking teaser will be unveiled by team Spyder on this 31st. Baahubali – The Conclusion has been rattling the world-wide Box office from the past 18 days. Trade circles and readers are fatigued knowing the endless records this film has created en-route emerging the biggest blockbuster of all time in the history of Indian cinema. Baahubali 2 has performed alike at a touring talkies in Tanguturu (in A.P) to the prestigious Airbus Imax in Washington D.C.
