As much impact as the magnum opus Baahubali created on your minds, so did the characters in the movie and their performances. One such character is that of Bhallaladeva essayed by the macho hero Daggubati Rana. He is currently busy with the shooting of Baahubali-2.

If the latest reports are to be believed, Rana would be seen repeating the avatar of Bhallaladeva for another project. It doesn’t mean he would be seen in those shining armors and all but we are talking about his brawny physique. This is also for another period movie.

Well, it is for the Tamil movie Madai Thirandhu which is being made on the backdrop of pre independence. It is heard that Rana would be seen in different avatars in this movie and one among them is that of the Bhallaladeva physique. The shooting begins from August 20th onwards.

This difference as a director was never a problem for anyone but their distributors have now realized a major difference between them in the wake of the latest ‘Puri vs Distributors’ controversy. 
 
Going into details, when Akhil movie bombed, Vinayak has personally called his distributors and worked on their compensations (even compromising on his remuneration) but on the other hand, Puri has lodged a harassment case on few distributors when pleaded for some compensation (for Loafer losses), argue few distributors.
 
Well in our Telugu market, distributors heavily bank upon director-hero combinations rather than the film’s merit and they are a very crucial part of the theatrical release. Even Rajinikanth had to compensate for his Lingaa losses in the interest of his distributors.

Superstar Mahesh Babu is gearing up to conquer the box office with his upcoming film Brahmotsavam. As a part of it, Brahmostavam team locked the date for the much awaited audio release.
 
Going into details, Brahmotsavam movie audio launch is scheduled on May 1st at Temple town Tirupathi, Andhra Pradesh. Amidst increasing rumors of release postponement, Brahmotsavam team confirmed the audio launch date that in a way gave a relief to Mahesh fans and market.

After 8 years, Natural star Nani teamed up with his debut film director Mohan Krishna Indraganti for a film titled ‘Nani Gentleman’. The film, which is said to thread a new genre in Tollywood with a novel storyline and gripping narration, will hit the screens in June. An intriguing poster was unveiled a couple of days ago.
 
This interesting poster is raising a lot of questions among the audience. It is learnt that Nani will be seen in negative role for the first time in his career. The words ‘ Hero, Villain ?’ which are imprinted on the posted did raise interesting speculations about his character and a little birdie close to the unit revealed that Nani will be playing a role which he has never tried so far in his career.

Allu Arjun’s upcoming action drama Sarrainodu completed its censor a few days ago and got ‘A’ certificate. The makers of the film have decided to tone down the mass elements and have trimmed few scenes. The final copy was sent to censor scrutiny again and the film has obtained U/A this time. With this, all the post production activities are done and dusted and film is set for a grand release on April 22nd.
 
The Boyapati Srinu directional has Rakul Preet Singh and Catherine Tresa as the female leads. Adhi Pinisetty is the antagonist in the film and veteran actor Srikanth plays an important role. SS Thaman rendered the tunes and Allu Arjun’s home banner Geetha Arts has produced the film.

A close source to the producer revealed that the satellite rights in three languages ( Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam) have been bagged by SUN Network for 16 Crores. This is highest satellite rights sold for any Telugu movie in its pre-release phase.
 
Allu Arjun carries an enviable reputation in Kerala and all his films till now fared exceptionally well and the makers of Sarrainodu are looking to cash in on his craze. They are planning a grand release in Malayalam. They are also looking for a wider release in Hindi as well. With humongous release in three languages, trade circle predict massive openings for Sarrainodu. In the film, Allu Arjun’s plays an army officer who gets deputed as a bodyguard to an MLA.
