Rajamouli’s period epic Baahubali is going to come out in 2017 as a bigger and grander sequel to the hugely successful ‘Baahubali – The Beginning’. This movie is currently on sets and regular shooting is expected to continue until the end of the year.
 
Unlike the first part which only had one overseas schedule in Bulgaria, this version reportedly has multiple overseas scheduled that are currently being worked out. These areas will most probably be used for action sequences and songs.
 
Prabhas has been bulking up for this film and he will be seen with a more muscled body in this version. Produced by Arka Mediaworks, Baahubali has music from Keeravani.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu had some very nice words to say about director Krish’s Kanche in the assembly.
 
Speaking about the National Awards won by Baahubali and Kanche, the AP CM said that Telugu people are second to none in terms of talent in this world. He praised Kanche for its social theme that is very relevant in this day and age.
 
“Krish has shown how important it is to remove the fences of caste, religion and regionalism in the movie beautifully. It is a very important lesson that we must learn. We cannot develop if we do not tear down these fences”, said Nara Chandrababu Naidu in the assembly.
 
Kanche has received a lot of acclaim from film lovers and this National Award has given the team a much needed boost just before their next project.

Awards are like a token of appreciation for work in films and a National Award is anyone’s dream come true. Today the Government of India has announced the prestigious 63rd National Film Awards a short while ago and our TFI is extremely proud to have Baahubali directed by Rajamouli wins the Award in Best Feature Film category.

SS Rajamouli, who has had a successful year with the Magnum-opus ‘Baahubali’ is all praise for the latest emotional drama, Vamsi Padipally’s Oopiri. The director showered praises on Vamsi for his amazing direction and screenplay.
 
Rajamouli took to Twitter to praise Vamsi, in his tweets he said that Vamsi did a fabulous job and Oopiri is a true entertainer that stays with you for a long time.
 
The director, with a series of tweets- showered praises on Karthi, Nagarjuna for their performances and congratulated the producer Prasad V Potluri and the whole team for the success.

The trailer of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh was released amidst himalayan expectations, but apparently it failed to reach the expectations of Powerstar fans. So, the makers have decided to satisfy Pawan Kalyan fans this time. 
 
Going into details, another two minutes trailer of Sardaar Gabbar Singh will be releasing on the 25th of this month on the eve of Good Friday. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to enthrall the Powerstar fans in a big way.
 
However, let us wait and see whether the second trailer of SGS will beat Baahubali’s record or not. The audio album, which has right blend of mass and melodious tunes in it, has been receiving thumping response form the audience and mega fans as well.
 
Directed by Bobby of Power fame, Sardar Gabbar Singh features Kajal Aggarwal and Lakshmi Raai as the female leads. Sharrat Marar is producing the film on Northstar Entertainment banner. The movie is slated to hit the screens on April 8th.

Macho hero Rana Daggubati has finally opened up on the role of Bhallaladeva’s wife in Baahubali: The Conclusion, the sequel to Baahubali: The Beginning. He revealed that Bhallaladeva has time to romance only his throne but not with his wife. It was recently rumored that Shriya Saran had replaced Lavanya Tripathi as Ballaladeva’s wife in the franchise. But both actresses were surprised by these rumors and said nobody from the Baahubali team had approached them for any role in the sequel.
 
Ever since they clarified on the issue, the question on everyone’s mind is Will Bhallaladeva have a wife at all in the sequel? However, now Rana Daggubati denies the role of his wife. When quizzed about his wife in Baahubali 2, Rana said, “No kidding! Bhallaladeva has time only to romance the throne. And moreover, if there is a new addition, it would be announced. What’s there to hide?” Rana further said, “I obviously can’t divulge much. But one thing is for sure… You’ll see me in an avatar which is meaner and villainous than in Bahubali — The Beginning. You have to watch it to understand what I mean”.
 
Baahubali set in the kingdom of Mahishmati ended with the murder of Baahubali and Bhallaladeva taking over the throne. The second part will unravel this murder mystery and it will show how Shivudu takes revenge on Bhallaladeva.  Rana Daggubati will appear in a more villainous look in Baahubali 2. 
 
Rana Daggubati is now reportedly busy with the shooting of the Hindi and Telugu bilingual movie Ghazi, which features him as an executive naval officer of the Indian Submarine S21. He is expected to soon join the team of Baahubali, which is currently being shot in Hyderabad.

It won’t be an exaggeration to say that Prabhas attained global stardom post Baahubali success. He is currently busy shooting for the much awaited sequel which will hit the screens in Summer next year. In the meantime, speculations about his next project have already become center of attraction in the media and the industry circles.
 
He will team up with young filmmaker Sujith of Run Raja Run fame for his next project. UV Creations, who debuted with Mirchi, will bankroll the project. The formal launch will take place in the month of August. It is learnt that Prabhas after completing major portion of his shoot for Baahubali will start working on Sujith’s project.
 
Reportedly, the production house is contemplating to make this film a trilingual and cash in on the craze acquired by Prabhas in other territories after Baahubali success. It is believed that Prabhas will simultaneously shoot for this film along with Baahubali. If everything goes as planned, this film will hit the screens in July/August next year. The pre production work for this project has already commenced and the entire cast and crew will be announced very soon.

Prabodh, brother of  Young Rebel Star Prabhas, was sentenced to one year imprisonment in a cheque bounce case. According to reports, Rajendranagar magistrate court gave its verdict in a case where UVSS Prabodh issued a cheque for Rs 43 lakh to a businessman towards a payment, but it bounced due to lack of funds in his account.
 
The court sentenced Prabodh to one year imprisonment and ordered him to pay 80 lakhs within two months from the date of the judgement. Prabodh has two months time to clear the fine to evade imprisonment and further complications. Well, we need to wait and see if Prabhas will come to the rescue of his brother.
 
Meanwhile, Prabhas is currently shooting for Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 in the specially erected set in Ramoji Film City. An action episode is being canned on Prabhas with a group of artists. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on April 14th, 2017.

India’s biggest motion picture Baahubali, which stormed the worldwide box office with its first installment, will be aiming to repeat a similar story when the much awaited ‘Conclusion’ hits the screens in April 2017. The shooting for the second chapter commenced last December and the unit has already wrapped two crucial schedules. They shot some important scenes in Kerala recently.
 
The fresh schedule commenced in Ramoji Film City and currently a fight sequence is being canned in the Wood Lands of the film city. Hotshot choreographer Keecha is composing the stunts for this sequence which features Prabhas and a group of fighters. SS Rajamouli is going all out to make this part a bigger hit than the first one. The first look teaser is likely be out for Dusheera.
 
The film also features Rana, Tamannaah, Ramya Krishna and few others in important roles. Arka Media Works is bankrolling the film.
