Kollywood is a place where there is ample scope for experimentation along with heroes not hesitating to adorn challenging attires – away from their comfort zone. Tamil hero Suriya is one hero who always does this and now his charming brother Karthi is also following the same path!

His latest film Kashmora’s first look poster released and it showed Karthi in a never-seen-before look with vicious eyes and bald headed look. This look reminded the fans of the dreaded Kalakeya look from Rajamouli’s Baahubali. Karthi has been heaped with praises for his tremendous hard work and his stunning makeover for this film! Well comments are already rife that it is not ‘Kaashmora’ but ‘Kalakeya 2’.

Anyways this new age horror Kaashmora written and directed by Gokul is scheduled to be a Diwali release. Music for the film is being composed by Santhosh Narayanan (of Kabali fame).

This is something even seasoned filmmakers find as a challenge and right now, the noted director Teja seems to be going through it. Apparently, Teja was to do a movie with the towering hunk Daggubati Rana but here is the twist in the tale.

Though Teja has wrapped up the pre production along with the casting, all he is doing right now is waiting for Rana to give his dates. Superstar Rajnikanth is quite a religious person who is known for visiting Himalayas often. He makes this visit once in a while but this report is not about his next Himalaya trip but indeed his upcoming Andhra Pradesh visit.

 Going into the details, on a special invite by the Andhra Pradesh government, Superstar Rajnikanth is going to take a holy dip in river Krishna at the Chintalapalli Ghat, Guntur district very soon. As per latest sources, Rajini will be accompanied by his whole family on this trip.

AP government is taking special measures to ensure his trip is successful. Actually Rajni was supposed to take part in the Godavari Pushkaras last year but that did not materialize. Meanwhile celebs from film industry are taking holy dip in the Holy river Krishna as a part of the auspicious Pushkara activity and more celebs are expected to participate soon. Victory Venkatesh’s Babu Bangaram opened to full houses on Friday and as per latest trade reports, BB enjoyed highest openings in Venkatesh’s career.

 On the first day, Babu Bangaram collected more than Rs 5.5 Cr (Share) & around Rs 7.2 Cr (Gross) in the two Telugu speaking states with a total of Rs 9 Cr (Gross) and Rs 6.80 Cr (Share) worldwide. However, there is a dip in collections on the second day and the film minted about Rs 4.4 Cr (Share) & Rs 5.6 Cr (Gross) in the two states and around Rs 9.9 Cr (share) & Rs 12.8 Cr (gross) collections worldwide.

 Fortunately the long weekend (with Monday being a holiday on the eve of Independence Day) might add to the advantage of the film where the film is expected to mint around Rs 20 Cr in the first four days. Though the film couldn’t win with content, Venky has scored a solo commercial hit after a long while.

Superstar Mahesh Babu is gearing up to conquer the box office with his upcoming film Brahmotsavam. As a part of it, Brahmostavam team locked the date for the much awaited audio release.
 
Going into details, Brahmotsavam movie audio launch is scheduled on May 1st at Temple town Tirupathi, Andhra Pradesh. Amidst increasing rumors of release postponement, Brahmotsavam team confirmed the audio launch date that in a way gave a relief to Mahesh fans and market.
