Young Tiger NTR scored his career’s best with Janatha Garage which has been directed by Koratala Siva. Tarak has been extremely impressed with the work of Koratala and asked him to come with a script so that they can work together again.
Janatha Garage is not the first film for which the duo bonded and they have been close friends right from Brundavanam for which Koratala Siva penned the story and dialogues. The latest news is that Koratala who has been waiting for Mahesh to start his next film Bharat anu Nenu locked the script of his next which will feature NTR in the lead role.
Tarak too has been extremely impressed with the plot and he gave his nod. Koratala Siva’s close friend and top distributor Mikkilineni Sudhakar will produce this film on Yuvasudha Arts banner. An official announcement will be made on this film on Tarak’s birthday on May 20th. The film is expected to start rolling once Tarak wraps up Trivikram’s project.

Megastar to quit MEK soon?

Megastar Chiranjeevi pinned massive hopes on his first ever tv show Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu. However the show received poor TRPs ever which left Megastar in shock. The common audience rejected the show however Chiru has been shooting for the rest of the episodes with which the first season of Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu will be wrapped up.
The entire show will be concluded by the end of this month and Megastar will then completely focus on his next movie Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy. After a short break the next season of MEK is said to resume however Megastar is in no mood to host the show. After getting busy with Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy, the actor will find no time to shoot for MEK so that he asked the makers to find an alternative for the next season.
Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy is said to be made on a massive budget and will be shot for almost 8 months. The makers of MEK too are not in a mood to wait for that long. Surendar Reddy will direct Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy and it will start rolling from August. Ramcharan will produce the film which will release during summer 2018.

Baahubali on a record breaking spree

Baahubali, which has become the first 1000 crore grossing Indian film in less than 10 days, is continuing it’s record breaking saga at worldwide box office. By making more than 300 percent profit, Baahubali 2 (Hindi) has now set an almost unbreakable record in terms of Return on Investment (RoI).
So far, the Rajamouli directorial has collected 375 crore from the Hindi version alone. It may be noted that the film’s acquisition cost was a mere 90 crore. The trade statistics tell us that the film made a whopping profit of 285 crore , resulting in an unbelievable profit of 317 percent.
Generally, small budget films which prove to be huge surprise money spinners, bring multifold profits. No high budget film has ever become as profitable as Baahubali did. Baahubali 2 is currently just 12 crore short of the lifetime collections of Dangal, 387 crore.
Going by the consistent pace Baahubali is progressing at box office, it is expected to dethrone the Aamir Khan starrer by today to emerge the new domestic highest grosser. The film will be decorated with more records like first 400 crore, 500 crore grosser etc. In coming few days.
