Nag’s Special Request to ace director about Akhil

Akkineni Nagarjuna is going great guns with versatile films and back to back hits both on the silver screen and small screen. However, his only concern now seems to be his younger son Akhil Akkineni. With the response Akhil got for Manam, success was indeed taken for granted. But guess the 22yr old actor needs to shed more sweat and blood for his debut hit!

 And it has been over 10 months his debut film Akhil released his second film hasn’t been confirmed yet. That is why Nag is apparently jumped into action. As per an ongoing speculation, Nagarjuna apparently asked writer-director Trivikram to develop his super hit ‘Manmadhudu’ character and story line into a full-fledged script for Akhil.

 Well ‘Manmadhudu’ is a memorable character and film in Nag’s career and it is in fact a title that he earned over the years. So industry onlookers wonder how far this idea works for Akhil especially at this point of his career. Moreover, even Trivikram seems to be busy with projects with Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh. Anyways everything is in the air now and anything can happen in this showbiz world. Time will decide more about this interesting project!

​Ace producer class to Nithya Menen?

Nithya Menen is one fortunate actress who got the golden chance of playing the lead role in the prestigious biopic of the legendary Mahanati Savitri. Well the industry and fans welcomed this and are happy for the perfect casting.

However according to an interesting speculation doing rounds in the industry circles, mega producer Ashwini Dutt (the producer of Savitri biopic) put some clauses to Nithya Menen. Well he apparently asked her to be punctual to the shoot and never interfere in the shoot and creative decisions during the process of making. At the end, he also made it clear to her that she must attend the promotions of the film, otherwise should face a cut in the remuneration.

While some say this is due to the overboard complaints over Nithya by few producers, others say it is the resultant of her unwanted straightforwardness. Meanwhile this interesting biopic is being directed by Yevade Subramanyam fame Nag Ashwin and it will hit the floors very soon.

Interesting facts about Kalyan Ram’s ISM

The young Nandamuri Hero Kalyan Ram is in good form by accepting back to back projects now. Earlier, he used to work on one film at a time but now while he is in sets for Puri Jagannadh’s Ism, he has given nod for another project. He has already accepted a fun multi starrer with Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej directed by AS Ravikumar.

Now, he has accepted another project by G Nageshwar Reddy who predominantly makes comedy flicks. Kalyan Ram never did a comedy genre film till date and it is a pleasant surprise to see the hero follow his uncle Balakrishna by choosing comedy as well.

This comedy film will be produced by popular personality BVSN Prasad and the tentative title might be Danchave Menatta Kootura derived from Balakrishna’s blockbuster Mangammagari Manavadu.

From a long time, discussions have been happening on the state of Telangana having a film awards event under the auspices of the state government. When Andhra Pradesh was united, the Nandi Awards were quite popular and prestigious. So, here is an inside news on that.

Sources reveal the Telangana film awards are going to take place during the Bathukamma festival in the year 2017. This is going to be done in a grand scale just like Nandi awards. However, it is not sure if they will be named as Golconda awards, Charminar awards, Telangana awards or anything else.

The Nandi Awards were considered quite precious and many in the Tollywood fraternity considered it to be a huge honor by becoming a recipient. Now, with Telangana government also preparing the stage for the state film awards, this is going to be quite interesting and exciting.

The song’s shooting has started in Nanakramguda, Hyderabad in an exclusively designed set in dhaba backdrop. The makers are scheduled to shoot the song for five days here and the set is said to be quite lavish with presence of authentic dhaba look.

Popular choreographer Sekhar master is choreographing this anticipated item number and it looks like tremendous fun is guaranteed with this peppy number! Meanwhile this film is going to hit the screens by 2nd of September.

 Well this is a prestigious production of Geetha Arts and given the theme of the film, Dhruva needs hype and promotion of a different level. So given a chance, Allu Arjun will be more than happy to be a part of the ‘Dhruva squad’.
