SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali, which has turned out to be the biggest grossing Indian film ever, will be screened in the upcoming Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFFF), which will take place on April 6th at 10.30 PM.
 
The makers of Baahubali ‏took to Twitter to announce the news. The official twitter handle read, “Baahubali: The Beginning will be screened at the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival on April 6th!”. 
 
Meanwhile, Baahubali-The Conclusion shooting is progressing briskly and currently a pivotal sequence is being canned in Ramoji City. Starring Rana Daggubati, Prabhas, Tamannaah Bhatia and Anushka Shetty, Baahubali is jointly produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni.

It has been a while since the movie Kobbari Matta was announced and it did create quite a buzz with its teasers and promos. However, now the film is back into the spotlight. There is a lot of discussion happening over it and even the film’s team is doing its bit.
 
Recently, the film’s hero Burning Star Sampoornesh Babu came up with a tweet which goes like this “Maro 10 rojullo HRUDAYAKALEYAM trailer thaladhannela KOBBARI MATTA teaser vidudhala mee premaabhimanalatho teaser ni aaseervadhinchandi”. 
 
The tweet is evident that Kobbari Matta will overtake Sampoo’s debut flick Hrudaya Kaleyam by miles and there is going to be an overdose of idiosyncrasies in it. The expectation on this movie is high and if it delivers as anticipated then Sampoo will create a new avenue of entertainment for Telugu audience.

Akkineni Nagarjuna-Karthi’s latest offering Oopiri is continuing its sensational run in the US. 23 theaters have been added for this weekend. Due to the release of Batman v/s Superman, Oopiri could not be showcased in the larger screens last week. Not to disappoint the fans, the makers of Allu Arjun’s Sarrainodu decided to host a grand pre release function in Visakhapatnam on April 10th. This announcement came close on heels after they confirmed that the audio songs will be released directly into the market without any hungama.
 
It is learnt that lavish arrangements are being made to make this event a grand success. A close source to the production house revealed that they are spending a fortune on this event which is likely to be graced by thousands of fans from both the Telugu states. More than one crore is being spent on this pre release function which will take place in RK Beach. The core members of the team will attend the event.
 
In the meantime, the audio songs which were released yesterday have been getting a thumping response from the music lovers. SS Thaman scored the soundtrack for the film. The Boyapati Srinu directional has Rakul Preet Singh and Catherine Tresa as the female leads. The film is slated to hit the screens on April 22nd.

Victory Venkatesh is back to the pace again after Gopala Gopala with Maruthi directorial venture Babu Bangaram. The shooting of the movie is going on at a brisk pace. 
 
From the past few days, there are many speculations about Venkatesh’s look in the film. However, now all the speculations are cleared with this first look. Seen here in the above pic, Venkatesh is looking in a simple yet stylish avatar. It looks like the film is completely a family entertainer. 
 
Venaktesh’s lucky mascot Nayantara is teaming up with him for the third time after Lakshmi and Tulasi. The expectations on the film are quite high as both Maruthi and Venakesth have a good reputation of delivering entertaining subjects  and family emotions. 
 
The movie also features Brahmanandam, Brahmaji, Vennala Kishore in the supporting roles. The film is being produced by urya Devara Naga Vamsi,  and the editing works will be managed by S. B. Uddhav. Babu Bangaram is slated to hit the screens in June. 

Wrong speculations about Oopiri remake

Since the last few days, some very wrong info has been circulating in Tollywood about the remake rights of Oopiri and some very big media houses have also fallen prey to this misinformation.
 
After registering solid acclaim, the movie Oopiri caught the attention of filmmakers across the country. This included Karan Johar, who wanted to make the film in Hindi. This led to the rumours about Karan acquiring the rights of Oopiri.
 
Interestingly, Karan Johar has no need of acquiring the remake rights of Oopiri. The movie is a remake of the french film ‘The Intouchables’ and Karan Johar acquired the India remake rights for this movie a long time ago! So, PVP Cinema actually acquired the rights from this Bollywood personality.
 
Oopiri is indeed going to be remade in Hindi by Karan Johar and Vamshi Paidipally may get a chance to direct the movie if everything goes according to plan.
