On the whole, Puli is a film with good concept and bad execution. The boring narration and lack luster screenplay spoils the mood of the film big time. Other than the impressive visuals and stellar performances by Vijay and Sridevi, this fantasy drama has nothing much to offer. All those who are interested in multi-starrers and lavish film making can give this film a shot, others can take it easy.

Huge set erected for Mahesh’s next

The first schedule of Prince Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film Brahmotsavam was wrapped up a few days ago. A family song featuring the principal cast was canned in this schedule and sources close to us reveal that a mammoth 3.5 crores was spent to shoot this lavish number.
Reports further reveal that Mahesh Babu will be be introduced through this song in the film. Touted to be an out and out family entertainer, the film is being directed by SVSC fame Srikanth Addala. Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal and Pranitha Subhash are the female leads.

Earlier today, NTR unveiled the first teaser of young hero Raj Tarun’s upcoming film Kumari 21F. The teaser launch event was held in Hyderabad.
Talking to the press, NTR showered praises on Sukumar for his inventiveness and flawless cinematic rhythm. He added that Sukumar never tasted failure as a director and although some of his films didn’t fare well at the box office, they earned a lot of respect in the audience.
Directed by Palnati Surya Pratap, the film has Hebah Patel as the heroine. Creative filmmaker Sukumar is producing the film.
NTR is currently busy shooting for his 25th film, Nannaku Prematho, in Sukumar’s direction. The film is slated to hit the screens in January next year.

Ace director AR Murugadoss, who is one of the popular filmmakers down South, is now penning script for an upcoming Telugu film. As per the latest buzz, Murugadoss is ready to team up with Superstar Prince Mahesh Babu for an interesting project.
In the past, Mahesh Babu also expressed his desire to work with Murugadoss. It is heard that Dil Raju will produce the film. However, an official confirmation regarding this buzz is yet to be received.
If everything goes as planned, the film will go on floors in mid 2016.

It is a known fact that Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 99th film Dictator shooting is progressing at a jet speed.
As per the latest update, the first teaser of the film will be unveiled on Dussehra. Already, the first look poster and the Ganesha song got a terrific response among the audience. Eros International is producing the film in association with Vedaashwa Creations. SS Thaman is scoring the soundtrack.
Directed by young filmmaker Sriwaas, the film has Anjali and Sonal Chauhan as the female leads. Currently, the team is canning a crucial sequence in the outskirts of Hyderabad. The film is slated to hit the screens in January next year.

Music sensation Devi Sri Prasad, who is one of the most sought after music composers down south with a handful of big budget films featuring top stars, has added yet another feather in his already decorated basket.
As per the latest reports, DSP choreographed a song in Kumari 21F, the debut production of his close friend and longtime collaborator, Sukumar. Speaking about DSP’s new achievement, Sukumar reportedly said that the song came out quite well on screen and that audiences will be surprised to see the other side of DSP.
Kumari 21F, directed by Surya Prathap, features young actors Raj Tarun and Heebah Patel. The film will release on30th October.
