Now the movie is being remade in Tamil and Sukumar’s associate Chandra Mouli will direct the movie. Lavanya Tripathi has been roped in to play the female lead in the movie. However the latest news is that Hebah Patel has been approached for the role and she signed the film on spot.

Though the reasons for Lavanya’s exit are unknown, this will be a great chance for Hebah to make her debut in Tamil as a full fledged heroine. GV Prakash Kumar will play the lead role in the film and the regular shoot of the film is expected to start in September.

Nandamuri Balakrishna started shooting for is 101st film after a small wait. After rejecting several projects, the actor signed his next in the direction of Puri Jagannadh. The shoot of the film is happening without any breaks and Balakrishna is playing a gangster and his stylish look is already a sensation across the social media circles.

 The makers are in plans to release the first look of the film on June 10th on the occasion of Balakrishna’s birthday. The makers registered four interesting titles with the Film Chamber and Jai Balayya has been locked for the film informed an exclusive source from the movie unit. Jai Balayya is sure an exciting title and will leave Nandamuri fans thrilled.

 Balakrishna along with his team will turn live on facebook and will reveal the first look on June 9th at 5PM. Balakrishna is currently shooting in Portugal and will return back on June 13th wrapping up a 40 days long schedule. Shriya Saran is the female lead and Anup Rubens is the music composer. Produced by Bhavya Creations, Jai Balayya is all set for September 29th release.

Mahesh Babu’s SPYder takes internet by storm

The first teaser of superstar Mahesh Babu’s upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual “SPYder”, a thriller based on bio-terrorism, was unveiled on Thursday and in no time it took the Internet by storm.

The one minute and 14 seconds teaser, which features a hi-tech spider, hints that the film could be high on technical wizardry. The creepy crawly, although its VFX version, gets more space in the teaser than Mahesh himself.

Directed by A R Murugadoss, the film deals about bio-terrorism. “Mahesh Babu plays an Intelligence Bureau officer who takes on infectious agents with the help of hi-end technology. The film is very high on action and it features Mahesh in his most sophisticated avatar yet,” said a source. 

Also starring Rakul Preet Singh, SJ Suryah and Bharath, the film has music by Harris Jayaraj. The film, made on a lavish budget, is gearing up for September 30 release.

Sensational director Shankar who is known for his challenging films is all set with 2.0 which is said to be the costliest ever Indian film till date. Rajinikanth is the lead actor in this film which is the sequel for Robo. Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar is the lead antagonist in the film and Amy Jackson is the female lead.

The climax of the film along with couple of songs are yet to be shot. Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar moved to their respective commitments and will join the sets back when Shankar is all set for shoot. The latest update says Shankar is specially designing the climax episodes and he wanted enough time for them to be shot.

With Rajini and Akshay aware of the plot, the duo came out with two different points as per their view. Rajinikanth suggested that it should be based mostly on VFX work while Akshay suggested some realistic stunts to be shot on the lead actors. The final decision will be taken by Shankar who is currently busy with the work.

 There is no update about the shooting schedules and Rajini is currently in Mumbai shooting for his next Kaala. 2.0 is produced by Lyca Productions and it will hit the screens early next year.
