Balika Vadhu (Chinnari Pellikuturu in Telugu) fame actress Pratyusha Banerjee’s suicide has taken the entire nation by shock. While her family, friends and family aren’t completely out of the trauma, few shocking facts saw the light of the day recently.
 
While the police are treating this as a suicide case with a suspected murder angle in it, latest reports reveal three secrets in her death mystery. Well her troubled relationship with current beau Rahul Raj (due to his link up with another woman) is an open secret, Pratyusha is allegedly pregnant at the time of her suicide. 
 
Not just that, Pratyusha indeed had clashes with Rahul Raj’s current muse and her friends reveal that she looked absolutely tensed and worried about her personal life. Besides this, Pratyusha and Rahul have huge financial debts that are being suspected to have contributed to her mental trauma.
 
On top of it, Pratyusha’s dead body was reportedly identified with bruises over her nose and neck which are adding fuel to the suspicion of murder. Let us hope the truth behind the death mystery is reveled at the earliest.

Rajamouli’s period epic Baahubali is going to come out in 2017 as a bigger and grander sequel to the hugely successful ‘Baahubali – The Beginning’. This movie is currently on sets and regular shooting is expected to continue until the end of the year.
 
Unlike the first part which only had one overseas schedule in Bulgaria, this version reportedly has multiple overseas scheduled that are currently being worked out. These areas will most probably be used for action sequences and songs.
 
Prabhas has been bulking up for this film and he will be seen with a more muscled body in this version. Produced by Arka Mediaworks, Baahubali has music from Keeravani.

Overseas markets for Telugu films have become a crucial factor now, with their multi million dollar revenues. As a result, producers and directors are catering to this market, to make sure that their film is ‘overseas friendly’.

According to reliable info, a bumper offer of 2.75 Crores has been made for the US rights of this movie. This has happened even before the film started rolling and this is a superb figure for Balakrishna, whose overseas market is very limited.
 
The production house has decided to wait until the second half of the year to open the business, as business will tend to heat up once the visuals and publicity material start trickling out.

The censor formalities for Pawan Kalyan’s Sardar Gabbar Singh have been wrapped up with a U/A certificate. The film is all set for a grand release on April 8th.
 
The unit is currently shooting for its final schedule in Switzerland. Kajal Aggarwal is playing the film’s leading lady. Power fame Bobby is directing the film and Pawan Kalyan’s close friend Sharat Marar is producing it.
 
Devi Sri Prasad composed the tunes and the audio is getting a superb response from the music lovers. Pawan Kalyan penned the story and screenplay for the film.

The characters in the serial are well loved by people, so it came as a bit of a shock when news broke out that the lead actress, Prathyusha Bannerjee, committed suicide at the young age of 24!
 
The actress apparently had issues with her boyfriend and TV Producer Rahul Raj Singh. The police are investigating and a full report is expected only after a day or two. But the incident has shaken everyone, especially her co-stars.
 
It has also put the spotlight on the Industry, where extreme competition, depression and vices are taking their toll. Depression is a very real phenomenon in the entertainment industry and a star like Deepika Padukone had to endure it. She publicly spoke about it and tried to raise awareness about it.

After the unimaginable success of her recent bilingual film Oopiri, Milky beauty Tamannaah is eagerly looking forward for her upcoming trilingual film in AL Vijay’s direction. The Telugu version has now been titled as Abhinetri. Interestingly, it’s the first time in her career that Tamannaah has acted in a thriller. 
 
While Tamannaah is playing one of the lead roles, the film also stars multi talented Prabhu Deva along with the chiseled hunk Sonu Sood in pivotal roles. The principal shooting of the film began few months ago, and recently, it was extensively shot in Maharashtra. 
 
With a title like Abhinetri, it remains to be seen what all Tamannaah has pulled off in the film. While Prabhu Deva is producing the Tamil Version, ace writer Kona Venkat is presenting it in Telugu. The music for this will be by the duo of GV Prakash Kumar and Thaman. Superstar Mahesh Babu’s next movie Brahmotsavam is creating lot of buzz before release. Brahmotsavam already created the record as the most expensive overseas movie in history of TFI. We had reported earlier that Classic Entertainments bagged the overseas rights for a record 13 crores.  PVP films has been getting very good offers for remaining areas in India also.
 
Even though the movie is slated for release in May, we hear that all the major GEC (General Entertainment Channels) are vying to get the rights of this marquee movie. As per our sources, Zee Telugu captured the satellite rights for this movie for a hefty 11 crores. Zee Telugu has rights to recent superhit ‘Srimanthudu’ as well.
 
This family entertainer is being directed by Srikanth Addala and PVP Cinema is handling the production. Samantha, Kajal and Pranitha are the heroines in this movie.

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s ‘Brahmotsavam’ is all set to hit the screens this summer. The film’s shoot is in the last stages and while the team expected to get the film out in early May, the most likely release date now seems to be in the last week of May.
 
We have said this before and the latest news coming out of the industry confirms our information. The final copy of the film is not expected to be ready before mid May though all efforts are being made to wrap up the film soon.
 
Mahesh Babu and Samantha will be sharing the screen along with Kajal and Pranitha in this big budget family entertainer that is being produced by PVP Cinema. The movie is being directed by Srikanth Addala and Mickey J Meyer has composed the music. Brahmotsavam will have a big release simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu had some very nice words to say about director Krish’s Kanche in the assembly.
 
Speaking about the National Awards won by Baahubali and Kanche, the AP CM said that Telugu people are second to none in terms of talent in this world. He praised Kanche for its social theme that is very relevant in this day and age.
 
“Krish has shown how important it is to remove the fences of caste, religion and regionalism in the movie beautifully. It is a very important lesson that we must learn. We cannot develop if we do not tear down these fences”, said Nara Chandrababu Naidu in the assembly.
 
Kanche has received a lot of acclaim from film lovers and this National Award has given the team a much needed boost just before their next project.
