Brahmostavam unit faces troubles in Varanasi

The makers of Prince Mahesh Babu starrer Brahmotsavam needed police assistance to control the frenzied crowd who went berserk upon seeing the handsome actor while shooting in one of the famous ghats in the holy city, Haridwar. Scores of devotees, who came to took holy bath on the eve of Shivarathri, noticed Mahesh Babu and Samantha shooting at a close proximity and tried to get close glimpse of them.
 
A close source to the unit revealed that it was very difficult for them to manage the crowd and finally took assistance from the local police to bring situation under control. Some key scenes are being shot in Kasi at present. The shooting is progressing at a brisk pace and the makers are planning to release the film in May.
 
Kajal Aggarwal and Pranitha Subhash are the other female leads in the film. Srikanth Addala is directing this family drama and Prasad V Potluri is producing it on PVP Cinema banner. Mickey J Meyer is scoring the soundtrack.

Sundeep Kishan’s black comedy thriller ‘Run’ is gearing up for a release on March 23rd. The audio launch event of the film will be held at JRC Convention center in Hyderabad on 12th of this month and the event is going to be a starry affair, with who’s who of the industry attending it. Sai Kartheek is the music composer of this film.
 
Anisha Ambrose is playing the leading lady and National award winning Tamil actor Bobby Simha is making his Telugu debut. Directed by Anil Kanneganti of ‘Mr.Nookayya’ fame, the film is being produced under A.K.Entertainments India Pvt.Ltd banner by Ajay Sunkara, Kishore Garikipati and Sudhakar Cherukuri. The film is presented by ATV Ramabrahmam Sunkara.
 
Mahat Raghavendra, Brahmaji, Posani Krishna Murali etc will be seen in other key roles. Rajasekhar cranks the camera and the audio will be released through A series

NTR or Tarak as he is called by friends and fans, is currently shooting for Janatha Garage in Mumbai. The film is being directed by Koratala Shiva and popular Malayalam actor Mohan Lal is playing a crucial role in the film.
 
NTR has taken a conscious decision to try something new for every film in terms of look and costumes. We saw this in Temper and Nannaku Prematho. Now for Janatha Garage, he is sporting a brand new look. Our sources say that this extremely trendy look has impressed technicians and unit members on the set.
 
No expense has been spared for the film’s technical excellence by Producers Naveen Yerneni, Naveen Yelamanchili and Mohan CVM. Samantha and Nithya Menen are the heroines in this movie and Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music.
 
The film unit will be shifting to Hyderabad very soon and shooting will resume in Sarathi Studios. The movie is aiming for an August 12th release.

It is common for intense competition to exist between two leading music directors. But that does not mean they do not extend professional courtesies to each other when necessary. Sometimes, they also happen to be good friends, as is the case between Thaman and Mickey J Meyer. In a classic example of friendship over competition, music director Thaman sang a song in the movie ‘Okka Ammayi Thappa’, a film for which Mickey J Meyer has composed the music.
 
Sundeep Kishan is the hero in this movie and Thaman’s song will be used for his introduction in the movie. ” The introduction song is very peppy and I felt Thaman’s voice would be perfect for the song. So I asked and he immediately accepted. I thank him for being so gracious and sportive”, said Mickey.
 
Nithya Menen is the heroine in this movie. The film’s talkie part has been wrapped up and only two songs remain to be shot. The total shoot will be wrapped up by the end of this month. Rajasimha Thadinada is making his debut as a director with this project. He has worked as a writer for many successful films in the past.
 
Well known Hindi actor Ravi Kishen is going to be seen as the villain.  Ali,Ajay, Thanikella Bharani, Brahmaji, Rao Ramesh, Rahul Dev, Saptagiri, Thagubothu Ramesh, Nalini and other senior actors will be seen in this film.

Superstar Rajinikanth’s forthcoming gangster drama Kabali completed its shoot a few days ago. The post production work is currently underway in Chennai. The film,a Ranjith Pa directional, features Radhika Apte as the female lead. Rajinikanth will be seen in dual roles in the film and a considerable part of shoot happened in Malaysia and Goa.
 
Initially, the makers had planned to release the film in mid Summer. But, the latest update from Tamil media revealed that Kabali will hit the screens in June. It is learnt that the forthcoming assembly elections in Tamil Nadu are the reason for the postponement. 
 
The audio launch will be held in May and the makers are planning to release the first look teaser in April.Santosh Narayanan is the music composer and Kalaipuli S Thanu is the film’s producer.

The second part of India’s Largest Motion Picture Baahubali – The Conclusion shooting is currently progressing at a jet speed and the producers have already announced the movie’s release date on April 14th 2017.
 
As per the latest reports, the first teaser of the film is being planned for Dussehra. The film is going to have a simultaneous release in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi so the teaser will be out in all three languages on Dussehra.
 
The team Baahubali are planning a huge release for the second part of this period epic and because of the massive success of the first part, business is expected to be on unprecedented levels. The film stars Prabhas, Rana, Anushka and Tamanna are the lead actors and the movie is being produced by Arka Media. Keeravani has composed the music.

Actor turned political leader Power star Pawan Kalyan is quite a reserved ma,  who usually keeps away from interviews and press meets. But, interestingly Powerstar has given away an interview to popular film critic Anupama Chopra after a long while and made some remarkable comments on various topics right from films to his political prospects. 
 
During his interview, Pawan Kalyan said,” I became an actor by accident. I always wanted to be a farmer.Sometimes I feel guilty for not living upto the idealistic dialogues in my films. When I leave acting, I will continue to write. I enjoy writing.. When asked about his political entry, Powerstar said, “Janasena was established to go into the public and I’m committed to it. Do your duty and disappear is my mantra! I don’t think about anything beyond that. Politics is like a Pandora’s box. I cannot stop listening to my inner voice.Once I get into politics, I will leave films”

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s dotting daughter Sreeja Konidela’s wedding is one of the most anticipated big fat weddings this season. The Mega family wishes to keep this second marriage a close affair and the wedding destination would be Chiru’s farm house in Bangalore. However, clarity over the wedding venue is still awaited. 
 
As per the latest reports from the mega compound, Mega family is making plans to do Sangeet ceremony at a five star hotel in Bengaluru owned by Subbarami Reddy. It is heard that the Sangeet ceremony will be one of the highlights of the wedding rituals and Megastar is expected to show off his dance and his son Ram Charan may also join Chiru for Megastar’s classic numbers. 
 
It is also learnt that Stylish Star Allu Arjun may shake legsto Ram Charan’s songs and Cherry will dance to Bunny’s popular songs. Moreover, Mega heroes Sai Dharam Tej, Varun Tej and Mega princess Niharika are all set to dance to Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Megstar’s chart buster numbers. 
 
A source close to the mega family said that Allu Aravind and Naga Babu may also join for group dance. It is also heard that noted choreographers have been roped in to compose dance moves for the Mega family. However, Srija’s wedding ceremony is indeed going to be a mega festival for mega family.
