Timeless beauty Sridevi made an exceptional comeback into films with English Vinglish. Her stellar performance in the film as a middle aged housewife who isn’t cared in the family was globally appreciated. However her comeback stint in Vijay’s Kollywood flick Puli wasn’t up to the snuff. 
 
But now sources say that she has given her nod for yet another offbeat project named Mom. This film is touted to be a female centric film in which Sridevi will be seen as a step mother. Supremely talented Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be seen in a guest role and interestingly, Kamal Hassan’s darling younger daughter Akshara Haasan is being considered for the role of Sridevi’s daughter in this film. 
 
Akshara has already proved her mettle with her impressive performance opposite stalwarts like Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush in Balki’s Shamitabh and this would be a great opportunity for the starlet to exhibit her acting prowess once again.
 
Sridevi is the mother of two daughters (Kushi & Jhanvi Kapoor) and is the step mom of young Bollywood star Arjun Kapoor & Anshula Kapoor (kids of Boney Kapoor-Mona Shourie) in real life. So, we need to see what sort of a step mom Sridevi plays in the film and what value she adds with her real life experience!

Koratala Siva has pulled a casting coup of sorts for NTR’s forthcoming actioner Janatha Garage. He has already roped in popular actors like Mohan Lal, Sai Kumar and Devayani for crucial roles in the film. Young Malayalam actor Unni Mukunda is playing NTR’s nemesis in the film.
 
According to the fresh update, noted Malayalam actor Rahman, who is popular for his roles in Billa, Simha, Oosaravelli and Govindudu Andarivadele to name a few, has been roped in to play a prominent role in the film. The first schedule has been wrapped up recently and the next schedule will kick start in a few days in Mumbai and NTR will join the unit in this schedule.
 
Samantha and Nitya Menon are playing the female leads in the film. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the soundtrack and Mythri Movie Makers are producing this high budget film. August 12th has been locked as the film’s release date.

Yes, it sounds weird when audience get to see only one song in Shankar’s film. The ace filmmaker is well known for spending extravagant budget on songs in all his films till now. But, he is going a different way for the first time in his career. It is well known that Shankar joined forces with Superstar Rajinikanth and some of World’s renowned technicians for the most expensive India film, Robot 2.0, whose shooting is progressing at brisk pace.
 
It is learnt that Shankar has some unique plans for this science fiction thriller. Reports reveal that Shankar is mulling one-song concept for Robot 2.0 so that the momentum doesn’t drop at any point of time. It is believed that he is leaving no stone unturned to make it a perfect action thriller featuring best visuals. So, he is considering to have only a single song in the film. However, an official announcement about this interesting news is yet to be out.
 
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is playing the antagonist in the film and Amy Jackson is the female lead. Lyca International is the production unit behind this high budget extravaganza.

A noted producer’s office was seized by a bank today in Hyderabad, amid a little drama. The well known producer in discussion is none other than Bellamkonda Suresh and the bank in question is Kotak bank.
 
The incident took place on the evening of March 3rd and the news came out a little late. Apparently, Bellamkonda’s people tried to resist the bank action and some heated arguments followed.
 
Bellamkonda Suresh has been under intense pressure from financiers as most of his last few films bombed at the box office. His biggest loss making venture was Alludu Seenu. In a bid to launch his son lavishly, Bellamkonda spent more than 40 Crores on the film and ended up losing almost 40%. He also lost money on ‘Jabardasth’ and ‘Rabhasa’.
