Chiranjeevi

[review]

Basing on the reviews of the top rated sites of tollywood industry…

123telugu.com Rating : 3.25/5

On the whole, Bruce Lee is a decent family entertainer. Ram Charan’s mature performance, stunning songs and racy first half are solid assets. If you manage to sit through the average second half, you are surely going to love mega star’s entry at the end and come out with a smile on your face.

idlebrain.com Rating: 3.25/5

First half of the film is smooth with plot thickening as interval approaches. Second half deals with hero proving certain things in order to save his family. One tend to expect hilarious entertainment when you see character of Brahmanandam, but Seenu Vaitla concentrated on family emotions this time. Plus points are family story line, Charan’s performance, Chiranjeevi’s special appearance, music, dances and cinematography. On the flipside, a better entertainment in second half would have taken movie to the next level. On a whole, Bruce Lee is a family oriented film which has all ingredients for a box office success with Ram Charan dishing out an all-round performance!

Tupaki.com Rating: 2.75

‘Bruce Lee’ is the story of a Stunt Man fighting all the odds for his family. In a way, Director highlighted the mindset of lower middle class people and importance of Girl Education. However, An Inter dropout hero becoming into an IB Department Official is unconvincing.

The moment Sreenu Vaitla, Kona Venkat & Gopi Mohan teamed up for ‘Bruce Lee’, Audience were expecting nothing short of hilarious entertainment from them. Surprisingly, Vaitla concentrated more on the human emotions rather than entertainment which is he is known for! Of course, Emotional Scenes of Ram Charan with Rao Ramesh & Kriti Kharbanda were touching to say the least.

Characterization of Hero has been designed so well but one can’t find freshness in the story. Screenplay of ‘Bruce Lee’ appears routine with traces of ‘Dookudu’ & ‘Baadshah’. Vaitla mark hilarious entertainment is missing in ‘Bruce Lee’ inspite of using the services of several star comedians. The way Brahmanandam (Suzuki Subrahmanyam) was used in the movie reminds us of Vaitla’s past two hits but the comedy skits will entertain the audience to some extent.

At the time when audience are going restless with not much happening in the Second Half, Chiranjeevi’s Cameo in the Climax lifts their spirits and fans could only jump in joy. It gave a good feeling to audience while stepping out of the theaters despite all the flaws. The helicopter sequence reminds us of Indra’s action block. Chiru’s rugged look, screen presence and style were simply magnificent.

While the First Half is partly entertaining, Second Half is a big let down and Megastar’s re-entry is the only saving grace. Overall, ‘Bruce Lee’ is just an average fare.

Based on the Reviews of  Top Telugu Movie Sites.

123telugu.com Rating : 3/5

On the whole, Rudrama Devi is a decent attempt from Gunasekhar. Heavy duty star cast, rich visuals and Allu Arjun’s stunning character elevate the film to a decent level. But a dragged out narration and slow pace of the film makes things tedious during the second half. The film is bound to get some huge openings because of the buzz it is carrying. Finally, if you keep all your expectations in check and go with the flow of the film, you can easily give this film a shot for its lavish film making and historical lineage.

fitnhit.com Rating: 4/5

Trade analysts are predicting that this movie would collect 6.5-7 crores on the release day of the movie, Gunasekhar team made all preparations for slating in India and Overseas. There is an interesting fact that Guna received a notice from the producers to clear his all last dues. Producers helped him when the movie is stopped shooting after lending crores of money. Guna is searching for the solution.Go and watch the first India’s 3D historical movie, before it fades away from the screens. Allu Arjun steals the show.

gulte.com  Rating: 2.75/5

Rudhrama Devi can still be watched once despite all the flaws because of the story and the insights it gives about the characters of the great Telugu kingdom. Guna Sekhar should have come up with a far more engrossing product as he repeatedly said that it was his dream to make a movie on the warrior queen. Don’t expect wonders or an everlasting cinematic experience with this film. Guna has announced a movie on Pratapa Rudra, The Last Emperor. Hope he comes up with better product learning from his mistakes.

Based on the reviews of top telugu movie sites and based on the public talk.

Subramanyam For Sale is a routine story but Director Harish Shankar’s command over comedy and fan frenzy moments takes Subramanyam to a safe zone. Sai Dharam Tej will surely make an impression with this film. Mega fans will start to believe that he has potential.

idlebrain.com Rating: 3.25/5

Analysis: First half of the film is alright. Second half has good entertainment. Climax is little dramatic. Director Harish Shankar’s entertainment elements and Dil Raju’s family values (though, there are a couple of double meaning dialogues in first half) are blended well in this movie. Plus points are Sai Dharam Tej’s energetic performance and Hari Shankar’s entertainment orientation coupled with a decent story line. It will be a feast for Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan’s fans. On a whole, Subramanyam For Sale has potential to work at box office!

But the films that click are narrated with hilarious entertainment and Subramanyam For Sale falls in this very same category. SFS will be a turning point in Sai Dharam Tej’s career and will put him into the big league. If you manage to ignore the routine and predictable story line, this film will entertain you from the word go and ends up as a paisa vasool entertainer.

Gulte.com Rating : 3.5/5

Subramanyam For Sale is a film made for the aam junta who look for entertainment and entertainment only. The script is sloppy with lots of holes and cliches. Interesting characterization of hero helps the bad first half to an extent. Things get better as the story moves to India. There is lot of entertainment in the second half.Harish Shankar’s command over comedy and fan frenzy moments takes Subramanyam to a safe zone. Sai Dharam Tej will surely make an impression with this film. Mega fans will start to believe that he has potential.Climax was dealt in a melodramatic fashion which is out of sync with rest of the movie. Mahesh Babu looks cute, young and handsome in this movie. His punch dialogues and expressions are the highlights of this movie. Shruti Haasan has done her part well.

Her chemistry with Mahesh Babu is good.  Jagapati Babu, Rajendra Prasad, Sukanya, Sivaji Raja, Aamani, Angana Roy, Sanam Shetty, Tejaswi Madivada, Sampath Raj, Mukesh Rishi, Rahul Ravindran and Poorna have done justice to their roles. Ali and Vennala Kishore succeeded in providing relief through their hilarious comedy.

Mahesh Babu’s performance is awesome. Koratala Siva’s direction and screenplay is top-notch. The choreography is good and the costumes, exotic locales are also good. Dialogues written by Siva are another big asset of this movie. Devi Sri Prasad’s music is superb.

What’s bad:

There are several predictable scenes and the pace of the narration is very slow. Especially, the second half, which is dead slow.

Technicalities:

Srimanthudu has rich production values. Devi Sri Prasad’s background score is the main highlight of this movie. R Madhi’s cinematography is another highlight of this movie. Art direction is commendable. Especially, the sets in the song ‘Dhimmathirigae’ are amazing.

Baahubali Movie Review

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text][review][/vc_column_text][vc_wp_text]SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali is an epic in two parts, narrated through spectacular visuals and amazing special effects, including a 30-minute battle scene helmed with admirable precision.

However, beyond this, the film with a star-studded cast of Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Anushka Shetty offers little else. The film suffers in terms of continuity, because the film’s production took more than two years.

The plot is about two royal cousins raised by the mother of one — who decides that the strongest and the noblest of them would rule the kingdom of Mahishmati. The film often seems like a 1950s work with men and women in glittering costumes moving through the corridors of magnificent edifices.

When one of the cousins, Amarendra Baahubali (Prabhas), is crowned king, a court conspiracy sees him murdered. But this is of course for the sequel of Baahubali, scheduled after a year or so.[/vc_wp_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
