Looks like Mega Star Chiranjeevi is following in the footsteps of Rajinikanth. Going into details, Last week, Rajinikanth has revealed his first look poster along with title so same the makers of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy seem to follow the same path.
Sources inform that Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy is all set to go on floors on occasion of Chiranjeevi’s birthday that falls on August 22nd and at the same time the filmmakers are likely to unveil the first look poster of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy
According to inputs, recently they have done a photo shoot for the first look in that Chiranjeevi will be seen in latest beard style. Two more photo shoots are going to take place after that they’ll finalize which one to release on the eve of actor’s birthday. Watch the space for more updates.

Rajamouli starts his next. Details Inside

Maverick director SS Rajamouli will be a relaxed and happy man these days. After the stupendous success of Baahubali: The Conclusion, the star director is on a break. After a short holiday in London, Rajamouli is back to the city.
Wrapping up all the promotional activities, the ace director started working on the script of his next which will be bankrolled by DVV Danayya. The update says that Rajamouli will take a call on the lead actor once the script of the film gets locked.
He is said to spend three to six months initially on the script after which the shooting schedules will be planned and the actors will be locked. Rajamouli is all also set to fly to Australia for a month to spend time with his family.
An inside source revealed that couple of plots narrated by Vijayendra Prasad have been on cards and Rajamouli will finalize one among them soon. The regular shoot of his next film will start during the first half of 2018. More details soon.

Superstar to lock horns with Bollywood ace actor yet again

Superstar Rajinikanth started shooting for his next titled Kaala earlier than planned. The shoot of the film is taking place in Chennai and the first pictures of Superstar from the film left his fans delighted. PA Ranjith is directing this movie which presents Rajinikanth in the role of a gangster who fights for the rights of the Tamilians in Mumbai’s Dharavi area.
Though there are talks that the movie has been based on a Mumbai based gangster Haji Mastan, the makers trashed the rumours about the news. Bollywood veteran actor Nanapatekar has been roped in to play a crucial role in the movie and his role will have enough prominence.
Superstar and Nanapatekar will share the same screen for over half an hour informed sources. Huma Qureshi plays Rajini’s love interest and Samuthirakani, Anjali Patel will be seen in other pivotal roles. Produced by Dhanush on Wunderbar Films, the movie has been aimed for summer release next year.

Mahanati has been the most discussed biopics in the recent times. It is the life story of the legendary actress Savitri. Young director Nag Ashwin spent years on the biopic and the film finally started rolling today in Hyderabad. The pooja ceremony has been held and the makers revealed the first pictures.
Keerthy Suresh is the lead actress in the film and she will reprise the role of Savitri in the movie. Made on a massive budget, massive sets are erected to reprise the films during her reign. Samantha will play a journalist and she will narrate the story.
Prakashraj, Anushka and Dulquer Salman will be seen in other crucial roles. Vyjayanthi Movies and Three Angel Studios will be bankrolling the movie which will release next year. Keerthy Suresh underwent huge transformation for her role. Senior filmmaker Ashwini Dutt is monitoring the production work.

Shruti Haasan drops form big budget flick Sangamithra

Shruti Haasan, who was roped in to play the titular role in the upcoming high-budget period drama ‘Sangamithra’, has shockingly been dropped from the project. The makers announced this shocking development on Monday but didn’t provide clear reason behind dropping their film’s leading lady especially after she had accompanied the unit to the Cannes Film Festival a few days ago.
Even the first look featuring Shruti Haasan as the warrior princess Sangamithra was released at Cannes. “Due to unavoidable circumstances, we are unable to proceed working with Shruti Haasan in Sangamithra,” Sri Thenandal Films, the producers of Sangamithra, announced on social media. There is no clarity on what might have forced the filmmakers to replace Shruti since she had been attached to this project for over three months.
She has also been undergoing training in martial arts as she was preparing to play a warrior queen in Sangamithra. Shruti is yet to respond to this harrowing development. Also starring Arya and Jayam Ravi, Sangamithra will reportedly be produced on a budget of Rs 450 crore. Tamil director Sundar C, who has never dealt a high budget film in his career, is on board to direct this epic film set in the 8th century AD. Now, fresh doubts are arising over the materialization of this project. Official statement from Shruti’s spokesperson : “Shruti has had to unfortunately take a call not to be part of Sangamithra. Knowing it was a massive undertaking and a long commitment spanning over 2 years, she knew the importance of her training, a comprehensive script and proper date calendar. She hired and started training with one of best combat trainers April onwards to make sure she was ready in time for shoot. Despite her enthusiasm and commitment to Sangamithra, she has had to give the film a miss since she had not received a proper bound script nor a proper date calendar. She is currently caught up with promoting her Hindi film Behen Hogi Teri, prep for Sabash Naidu and her musical associations”
