Veteran actor Chalapathi Rao is hitting the headlines for his controversial remarks which he had made on women’s in ‘Rarandoy Veduka Chuddam’ audio function. Later, Chalapathi Rao has asked a public apology and now it got sorted. Recently, after the incident, He has given an interview to youtube channel where he revealed many interesting facts about his life. He said that “Before entering into films I got married.. it was a love marriage. But my wife died when I was 27. I was financially very weak.. and I had three kids by then. I couldn’t understand what’s going on.. and thought of committing suicide. If I do that.. who will look after my children? So, I moved on”. “Senior NTR and his wife Tarakamma garu pressurized me to get married once again. But I didn’t follow their advice becuase my inner voice was against marriage. My only goal was to bring up my children. I worked hard in films. My children got settled down in life after completing post-graduation in USA. I’m very happy now.” He also said that he has completed 50 years career in films being a drama artiste.

Kamal Haasan comments about Rajini’s political entry

Actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan on Friday dodged a question regarding his best friend and actor Rajinikanth’s rumoured political entry. Speaking on the occasion of the trailer launch of the Tamil version of reality TV show “Bigg Boss”, Kamal said: “We need to organise a separate press meet to talk about it (Rajinikanth’s political plunge).” Rajinikanth had earlier hinted that he may join politics at an appropriate time, leading to much hullabaloo. Kamal will be hosting the Tamil “Bigg Boss”, which marks his television debut. Asked how does he feel to be making his debut on television, he said: “I feel like a debutant before every performance. The day I don’t feel butterflies fluttering in my stomach before a performance, I’ll stop acting.”

Akkineni lad to romance Bollywood actress

Akhil is back to square one after a misfiring debut in 2015. The Akkineni handsome lad is going to be relaunched with his second film which is being produced by his home banner Annapurna Studios. Vikram Kumar, who churned out good hits like Manam and Ishq, is calling shots for this film which is tipped to be an action romance.
While it was nearly two months since the shoot got underway, the makers are yet to find a female lead for Akhil. A couple of happening beauties were rumoured to be a part of the project, but no formal announcement has been made so far. It is learnt that Vikram Kumar is still on the lookout for the heroine who can fit the bill perfectly.
Sources say that the makers have approached a couple of Bollywood starlets too, but the efforts were not fruitful. It remains to be seen which heroine will make the cut. Currently scenes featuring Akhil and other artists are being wrapped up. Jinnu and Ekkada Ekkada Vundho Taraka are the titles in consideration for the film.

Chiranjeevi’s next film Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy will be simultaneously made in three languages. Producer Ram Charan is very desperate to expand his father’s market in Northern territories.
So, he is coming up with a master plan as far as the production values and the casting of the film are concerned. Surender Reddy is the director. As the film will release in Hindi, Charan is looking to cast popular Bollywood artists in the film. It has already been heard that a couple of top heroines in Bollywood heroines have been approached for this prestigious project.
Now, the latest update reveals that Megastar Amithab Bachchan is offered a key role in the film. Reports say that Amithab Bachchan had a narration recently, but he is yet to give the nod. It is well known that Amithab expressed his desire to share screen space with Chiranjeevi for his 150th film, but things shape up according to his will.
Now, Charan and Chiranjeevi are looking to cast Amithab in this film which will definitely bring much needed hype in Bollywood circles. What remains to be seen is whether Amithab signs the dotted line or not.

It looks like megastar Chiranjeevi is immensely pleased with the unprecedented success of `Baahubali-The Conclusion’ which brought pride and recognition for Telugu cinema worldwide. A source claims that reigning director S S Rajamouli was in a for a pleasant surprise, when megastar landed at his house to pat him for delivering a Rs 1,000 crore wonder.
Rajamouli reportedly received the guest with utmost respect and the actor spent quality time with director and his family and discussed about the response generated by magnum opus. “It was a courtesy visit since Chiranjeevi wanted to appreciate the director in person since he made Telugu cinema proud,’ says a source.
In fact, megastar worked with the director in `Magadheera’ as he made a brief apperance in `Bangaru Kodipita’ song. Earlier, `Tagore’ star released an open message when the “Baahubali – The Conclusion’ drew record-breaking openings and had said ‘Baahubali is an outstanding film. Rajamouli deserves all the accolades for creating a wonder like Bahubali.
Hatsoff to the creator for letting Telugu Cinema grow leaps and bounds.”. However, Chiru who made a roaring comeback with `Khaidi No 150′ could join hands with Rajamouli since the top-notch director is known for etching out `larger-than-life’ roles. It would be a heady combination of sorts. Lets wait and watch.

Young actor Manchu Manoj is on a new mission these days. He has started a foundation called Manoj Kumar’s Unity and the purpose is to collect funds for the development of farmers in India. In fact, after storm Hudhud which destroyed several parts of Eastern India, Manchu started Manoj Kumar’s Unity, to help the people of Vizag and subsequently support people who suffered in the Chennai floods too.
He formed an eminent panel including five people who are close to his heart, so that they can participate and contribute to this great cause. The eminent panel includes KTR, RajaMouli, Rana Daggubati, Sai Dharam Tej and G V Keshav. Talking about farmer woes, Manchu Manoj said, “We all love and respect our mothers who feed us and it is equally important to treat the farmers in the same way since they are the source of our food.
Due to various reasons, many Indian farmers are giving up their lives and this issue needs to be taken seriously.” The actor has initiated `Save the Farmers” programme, encouraging people to donate a day of their annual salary to farmers who provide us with the food we eat several times a day, so that we can fill their stomach too! Saving farmers and bringing back a smile on their faces is what Manoj mission all about.

Baahubali 2 continues its golden run at box office

It’s been 25 days since the release of S.S. Rajamouli’s magnum opus “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion”, and the film is continuing its phenomenal run in cinemas across the country, feel trade pundits.
Having amassed over Rs 1500 crore and still counting, “Baahubali 2” has crushed all existing box office records.
“The film in unstoppable in Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. In the three states, it has done record business, surpassing all previous records. In Tamil Nadu, it has even beaten the record of Rajinikanth’s ‘Enthiran’, which was the sole Tamil film to have grossed over Rs 100 crore,” trade analyst Trinath told IANS.
In the Telugu states, the film has grossed over Rs 200 crore. “It’s the biggest Telugu hit and it’s got no competition until the next major Telugu release which is easily a month away. While the recent Telugu release has opened well at the box office, its impact will have very little effect on the run of ‘Baahubali 2’,” a leading distributor told IANS on the condition of anonymity.
