Prince Mahesh Babu is one of the fewest actors who came forward to act in a multistarrer. The Mahesh – Venky starrer Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalli Chettu set the tone for multistarrer films in Tollywood. On numerous occasions, Mahesh openly said that he is ready to act in multistarrer films if he gets a perfect script.
 
According to the fresh update, Mahesh Babu’s next film is likely to be a multistarrer. It is a known news that Mahesh Babu will team up with AR Murugadoss for his next project. Close sources to Murugadoss revealed that the film will feature Tamil superstar Vijay in an important role.
 
As the film will simultaneously release in Telugu and Tamil, Murugadoss has designed a special role for Vijay so that the project will garner huge attention in Tamil markets as well. Both Murugadoss and Vijay delivered super hits with Thupaki and Kaththi. So, it would be interesting to see Vijay playing an important role in this film.
 
It is not yet confirmed if Vijay will feature only in Tamil version. An official confirmation will close all the ongoing speculations. A leading Bollywood actress is in talks for the female lead’s role.

Director Teja and actor Rajasekhar are known for their unique personalities. One is a tough ‘slap’master sorry taskmaster and the other is fans’ favorite “angry young man” (of course not anymore). When a film was announced in this hatke combination, many were taken aback!
 
Interestingly, the project was aptly titled Aham and the shoot was initially scheduled to commence from March onwards. But latest updates reveal that Rajasekhar opted out from this project due to creative and commercial differences. However, an official confirmation on this is still awaited.
 
After Gaddam Gang bombing at the box-office, Rajasekhar was planning to turn into a villain and the right time, Teja pitched in this project. Even the title Aham added to the hype and expectations over the project. But unfortunately the producers have eaten a big blow now.
 
We need to wait and see if the project will be revived with newcomers or Rajasekhar!

Pawan Kalyan’s Sardar Gabbar Singh is creating an unprecedented buzz among the audience as the release date is fast approaching. The film is set for a phenomenal release on April 8th across 40 countries. The advance bookings are solid and the first day collections are going to be huge.
 
In the meantime, the satellite rights of the film have been sold for a bomb. Reportedly, MAA TV has shelled out 13.5 Crores to grab the rights. Tipped to be an out and out commercial entertainer, Sardar features Kajal Aggarwal and Lakshmi Raai as the female leads. Bobby is the director and Sharrat Marar is the producer.

SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali, which has turned out to be the biggest grossing Indian film ever, will be screened in the upcoming Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFFF), which will take place on April 6th at 10.30 PM.
 
The makers of Baahubali ‏took to Twitter to announce the news. The official twitter handle read, “Baahubali: The Beginning will be screened at the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival on April 6th!”. 
 
Meanwhile, Baahubali-The Conclusion shooting is progressing briskly and currently a pivotal sequence is being canned in Ramoji City. Starring Rana Daggubati, Prabhas, Tamannaah Bhatia and Anushka Shetty, Baahubali is jointly produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni.

SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster magnum opus Baahubali, made headlines once again after it bagged the coveted ‘Best Film’ award in the recently announced 63rd National Film Awards for the year 2015. As accolades from all avenues continue to pour in for the entire team, there has been some debate in the media about the award as to why Bahubali was selected as ‘Best Film’ and not in other categories such as ‘Visual effects’.
 
As per our sources, three persons have influenced the award committee in making sure the magnum opus gets Best Film award. Central Minister Venkayya Naidu and former politician and actor Krishnam Raju, who have contacts with all the bigwigs are said to have played a pivotal role. Then, K. Vasu has played a crucial part in Baahubali’s journey towards winning the award. K. Vasu is a close aide of Krishnam Raju and also a key member of the 11 member jury that declared the winners.
 
Also, there were some debates in national papers such as Indian Express which has directly stated that Baahubali is not an apt choice for the Best Film award. In its article, it mentioned that Baahubali has put regional cinema on national and international pedestal.
