Top actress set to make comeback in Tollywood

Ileana-DCruz-1
Dazzling beauty Ileana was once the most sought after heroines in Telugu cinema. She starred in some super hit films and just when things looked rosy, she slowly faded away. At that time, behavioral issues were cited as the reason for lack of opportunities.

Ileana moved on to Bollywood and tried her luck in a couple of successful projects. But her career is not exactly soaring there and Ileana is now keen on coming back to the south.

She is getting in touch with all her old staff and managers. The word is out now and Ileana is available for leading roles in a Telugu movie. Apparently, the actress is so desperate for a comeback that she is wiling to compromise on the remuneration aspect as well.

Even after all these years, Ileana can be a formidable force in a glamorous role. Let us see if our directors and producers can find a place for her.

Kumari to turn dancer soon

Hebah-Patel-New-Stills
Debutante actress Hebah Patel has become a sought after name ever since her film Kumari 21 F hit box-office gold. She has been on a signing spree since then and one important film which fell into her kitty is her next with Nikhil Siddhartha to be directed by VI Anand. And it is learnt that the actress plays a dancer in the film.

Interestingly, Hebah has even been undergoing a workshop to train for her role which sees her as a western dancer adept with various dance forms. For over a month, she trained in the nuances of the dance form and she has apparently made that an important part of her daily routine as well.

Though a lot isn’t being heard about the film, it is learnt that nearly 40% of the film’s shoot has been completed but the producers are keeping it all hush hush to ensure the film doesn’t draw a lot of attention and undue hype. Well, we’ll have to wait and watch if the strategy is working.

Interesting genre for Ram Charan’s next

Ramcharan
Creative director Sukumar will be directing Mega Powerstar Ram Charan later this year and he is currently working on a script for the same. Megastar has given Sukumar the task of revamping Charan’s image and the director is working hard to fulfil this directive.

Sukumar has reportedly zeroed in on a science thriller for Charan. This movie reportedly deals with the mysteries of energy and physics. Sukumar is currently working with a team of writers to simplify this subject to the level of a common man, so that even mass crowds can enjoy the film.

After doing back to back mass roles, Charan is desperately looking for an image makeover and a hit in A centers and overseas markets. The decision to remake Thani Oruvan and work with Sukumar are steps in that direction.

Devayani Out, Suhasini in

devyani-suhasini

Traditional looking Devayani has won millions of hearts in Tollywood with her girl next door look in many films during 90s decade. She even starred with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan in Suswagatam which was a super hit. However, she faded from the lead actress roles and was best noted for her performance in Nani as Mahesh Babu’s mother.

After years, she bagged a chance to act opposite Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal for Jr NTR’s upcoming flick Janata Garage. But, unfortunately she lost the chance as the makers of Janatha Garrage felt that she wasn’t suiting the character perfectly. However, Devayani is now replaced with another stellar actress Suhasini Maniratnam.

Suhasini is well known for remarkable performances in Telugu post heroine phase such as Nuvvu Naaku Nacchav and Leader. However, it would be quite interesting to see her sharing screen space with Mohanlal this time.

Directed by Koratala Siva, the film also features Samantha and Nithya Menen as the female leads in the film. The shooting is currently progressing at a jet speed and it is slated to hit the screens on August 12th, 2016.

Yes, we have reliably learnt that Nag, who plays a quadriplegic millionaire in the film, which is an adaptation of French classic The Intouchables, is seen using this state of the art wheel-chair throughout the film and we hear it was specially designed for him. The chair, was imported from Sweden just to shoot the film and the makers spent a huge sum of Rs 25 lakh for the process.
