Mahesh’s director turns villain in his next

Mahesh Babu is sure gearing up for his summer release Brahmotsavam but simultaneously, the actor is working on his next with director AR Muragadoss.
We hear that the casting and all is in progress and the most interesting revelation is that director Jayanth C Paranjee will play the antagonist in the film.
Interestingly, Jayanth had directed Mahesh Babu in Takkari Donga way back in 2002. The likes of Parineeti Chopra and Sai Pallavi are being considered for a role in the film. An official confirmation is awaited in this regard.

Ace production team neglects film’s release

Coming up with a good film is only half the job done. The other crucial part is to get the film ready for release with good publicity and promotions. When a production house fails to do this, it will end up hurting the film.
One such scenario is currently being seen in Tollywood. The movie ‘Run’, starring Sundeep Kishan in the lead role, is all set to release on 23rd. The film’s publicity team is not in touch with any of the media houses like a pre-release team should. In fact, there is not even a press show for reviewers and critics.
Even the smallest of films make it a point to arrange a press show so that word of mouth and reviews come up early for the film. Media personnel were wondering whether a show would be announced at the last minute. But nothing of the sort happened. Sundeep himself is taking things into his hand and trying to do something. But with such short notice, it is not an easy task. The only thing going for the film is a good report in film circles.

New trailer of Sardaar Gabbar Singh to be out soon
The trailer of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh was released amidst himalayan expectations, but apparently it failed to reach the expectations of Powerstar fans. So, the makers have decided to satisfy Pawan Kalyan fans this time.
Going into details, another two minutes trailer of Sardaar Gabbar Singh will be releasing on the 25th of this month on the eve of Good Friday. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to enthrall the Powerstar fans in a big way.
However, let us wait and see whether the second trailer of SGS will beat Baahubali’s record or not. The audio album, which has right blend of mass and melodious tunes in it, has been receiving thumping response form the audience and mega fans as well.
Directed by Bobby of Power fame, Sardar Gabbar Singh features Kajal Aggarwal and Lakshmi Raai as the female leads. Sharrat Marar is producing the film on Northstar Entertainment banner. The movie is slated to hit the screens on April 8th.

A well known director has put up his property for sale. This property is in a good location and it has fetched a very good price. The director in discussion is Teja, who is known for hits like ‘Jayam’, ‘Nijam’ etc.
He has a pretty big building on Road No 45 in Jubilee Hills, close to Nandamuri Balakrishna’s house. This property was sold by the director, after mapping work started for flyover construction in the area.
Teja is quite rich,mainly due to the sound financial investments he made during his successful days. These investments were mainly in real estate and with the terrific boom witnessed during the mid 2000’s, he made his fortune. Teja is in the process of getting his next project Ahem and this will have Rajasekhar as the villain.

Rana reveals interesting facts about Baahubali 2
Macho hero Rana Daggubati has finally opened up on the role of Bhallaladeva’s wife in Baahubali: The Conclusion, the sequel to Baahubali: The Beginning. He revealed that Bhallaladeva has time to romance only his throne but not with his wife. It was recently rumored that Shriya Saran had replaced Lavanya Tripathi as Ballaladeva’s wife in the franchise. But both actresses were surprised by these rumors and said nobody from the Baahubali team had approached them for any role in the sequel.
Ever since they clarified on the issue, the question on everyone’s mind is Will Bhallaladeva have a wife at all in the sequel? However, now Rana Daggubati denies the role of his wife. When quizzed about his wife in Baahubali 2, Rana said, “No kidding! Bhallaladeva has time only to romance the throne. And moreover, if there is a new addition, it would be announced. What’s there to hide?” Rana further said, “I obviously can’t divulge much. But one thing is for sure… You’ll see me in an avatar which is meaner and villainous than in Bahubali — The Beginning. You have to watch it to understand what I mean”.
Baahubali set in the kingdom of Mahishmati ended with the murder of Baahubali and Bhallaladeva taking over the throne. The second part will unravel this murder mystery and it will show how Shivudu takes revenge on Bhallaladeva. Rana Daggubati will appear in a more villainous look in Baahubali 2.
Rana Daggubati is now reportedly busy with the shooting of the Hindi and Telugu bilingual movie Ghazi, which features him as an executive naval officer of the Indian Submarine S21. He is expected to soon join the team of Baahubali, which is currently being shot in Hyderabad.

Abhishek pictures has been talk of the industry from last year. They bagged high profile projects such as Srimanthudu, Nannaku Prematho. They are moving very aggressively and even outbidding Dil Raju and quoting fancy prices in Naizam. Everyone in the industry has been wondering who is behind Abhishek pictures and how they are able to pump in lot of cash.
For example, very recently they bought Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gadha rights for 15crores and now they are buying Sai Dharam Tej’s Supreme for more than 20 crores. Incidentally, Abhishek’s main competitor, Dil Raju, is the producer of the movie. Abhishek is also now venturing into movie production. They are making a movie with Bellamkonda Srinivas and Boyapati and contemplating another movie with Nani.
We have exclusively learned that son of Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivasa Yadav, Sai Kiran Yadav is main person behind this. Talasani historically had a good relationship with the film industry and his son seems to be taking that to the next level. However, one wonders what is the motive of going very aggressively when they know for sure that it is going to be a loss venture. Producers are definitely not complaining as they are no longer bound to a Dil Raju or a Sudhakar reddy.
