Talented actress Lavanya Tripathi is picking her roles selectively to cement her position in T-town. The actress who proved her acting skills in films like `Andalarakshasi’, was part of blockbusters like `Soggade Chinni Nayana’ and `Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy’ and now sharing screen space with most-happening star Sharwanand in his next film `Radha’.

Meanwhile, the actress also dabbled with Tamil films like `Brahman’ and `Mayavan’, to expand her footprints across south India. The pretty girl from Dehradun is surely going places since she is working with stars like Nagarjuna and Nani to keep herself in the reckoning for the top slot. “Her role in `Radha’ is a good mix of performance and glam,’ says a source.

The graduate of Economics, understands the stiff competition given by the likes of Regina, Raashi Khanna and Pragya, so trying to showcase her glam side, once-in-a-while by retaining her forte-acting chops. Nevertheless, she is one of handful of talented actresses in T-town and needs to focus on acting-driven roles.

The euphoria created by Baahubali franchise among Indian movie lovers is so huge that they are not satisfied with the on-screen magic. They want to know about every minute aspect that went into making of this epic film. After a stunning revelation like Rana Daggubati was visually impaired in one eye, the makers have another surprise in store. As per media reports, the baby who played infant Mahendra Baahubali in the film is actually a Girl.

The scene where Rajamata Sivagami played by Ramya Krishnan gets drowned holding the baby above her head is one iconic visual piece in the history of Indian cinema. Moreover, this particular scene was used as the very first poster of Baahubali when the film’s promotions kick-started a few years ago.

Named Akshitha Valslan, the baby who played infant Mahendra Baahubali is said to be only 18-day-old when her scenes were canned for almost five days for the biggest Indian blockbuster ever. Akshitha is the daughter of Valslan, who was the production executive for Baahubali in Kerala.

That’s how the baby got the lucky opportunity of becoming part of Baahubali. Interim, Baahubali has become the first Indian film to gross Rs 1000 crores at the worldwide box office and the film hasn’t slowed down yet.

Baahubali 2 sets a new benchmark at box office

Baahubali 2 is raking in huge moolah at the box office breaking records. Directed by SS Rajamouli, the magnum opus has created history with a rare feat after collecting Rs 1000 crore at the box office becoming the first Indian movie to do so.

Starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannah, Ramya Krishna and Satyajit in lead roles, Baahubali 2 released in April 28.

Within its first 10 days of release, the movie has set up this huge feat. Released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi, across 8,000 screens in India, Baahubali: The Conclusion has made over Rs 800 crore in India and over Rs 200 crore in the international markets.

Stylish Star Allu Arjun is all set to impress the audience once again with his next movie Duvvada Jagannadham. The movie is said to be a mass action entertainer which is helmed by Harish Shankar. The shoot of the film nearing completion, the makers are busy with the post-production work.
