Katamarayudu world wide box office report

Pawankalyan’s Katamarayudu has closed it business worldwide with a final distributor share of 62.15 Cr. The film a flop in domestic markets and a Disaster in USA. The film has costed a near 72.5 Cr in domestic markets for the buyers which accounts to a recovery of less than 80 percent.. Overseas buyers has lost over 6.5 cr which is more than half of the investment.
This is a consecutive failure for the hero as his last film Sardaar gabbar singh was a disaster. IT had collected a distributor share of 52.4 Cr .

Rathnavelu reveals shocking fact about Ram Charan’s Rajahmundry Schedule

Well-known cinematographer Rathnavelu on Monday said challenging as it was to shoot without mobile coverage for an upcoming yet-untitled Telugu film, there was something good about the experience.
Rathnavelu is currently working on Ram Charan’s project with director Sukumar. “The 20 days without mobile network filming in Godavari district was a nightmare! Coming back to city realised the mobile detox was good though,” Rathnavelu tweeted.
The makers over the weekend completed the film’s first schedule in Rajahmundry. A rural-based romantic saga, the film has a 1980s backdrop. It also stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Ram Charan has gone fully rural for this project. The film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers.

Mahesh says big No for body double in Spyder

Production designer Rupin Suchak says Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu has done incredible stunts in action-thriller “Spyder”, which is being directed by ace filmmaker AR Murugadoss as a Tamil-Telugu bilingual.
“Mahesh has done some fabulous stunts which we never thought an actor could do. But, Mahesh did it all by himself without any body double. We were all quite stunned,” Rupin told PTI. “This man has taken it to another league. Theres a particular sequence where even the stunt doubles were scared of doing it. But Mahesh just went ahead and delivered it.”
Rupin, who has worked on films such as R Balkis “Ki & Ka” and Gauri Shindes “Dear Zindagi”, says Murugadoss has given him all the liberty to go ahead and do what he wishes to do.vProduced by NVR Cinema, “Spyder” features Rakul Preet opposite Mahesh Babu.
Also starring Tamil actor-director SJ Suryah as the antagonist, the movie marks veteran lensman Santhosh Sivans first Telugu film. Harris Jayaraj has composed the music for the project.

Both Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun might miss out on a box office clash this year, but they are likely to vie for upper hand during Sankranthi next year.
According to the industry sources, Mahesh Babu‘s next film with Koratala Siva which is titled as Bharat Ane Nenu and Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya are looking for release next Sankranthi. If this buzz turns out to be true, then it will be the first time both Mahesh and Bunny are going to lock horns at the box office. Interestingly, both these films are going to explore a similar genre – Patriotism.
In Bharat Ane Nenu, Mahesh Babu will be seen as an NRI who turns a powerful politician in India under unforseen circumstances. In Naa Peru Surya, Allu Arjun will be playing an Army man who places his country before everything. Vakkantham Vamshi will be directing this big budget entertainer.
The regular shooting of these two films will commence once Bunny and Mahesh wrap up their current commitments.

With just a week left for one of the biggest releases in India, Baahubali: The Conclusion, the fans are eagerly waiting to catch the movie on screen.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, the Baahubali franchise has become a huge craze all across the globe. Starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tammannah, Satya Raj and Ramya Krishna in lead roles, the movie is scheduled to hit the theatres on April 28.

- The Baahubali franchise have been made with a budget of USD 37 million (approx Rs 250 crore) which is the costliest movie to be made in India till date.
- The waterfall sequence in the first instalment of Baahubali was one of the magnificently visualized scenes in the movie and a lot of effort went through for the shot. According to the latest reports, a similar sequence will be witnessed in Baahubali: The Conclusion.
- Actors Prabhas and Rana Daggubati who play Baahubali and Bhallaladeva in the movie went through rigorous martial arts training for months and put on 30 kilos to look right for their roles.
- Prabhas spent four-five years for the movie without signing any other film. To prepare for the role, the actor has set up a gym in his home with equipment costing around Rs 1.5 crore.
Prabhas works out for approximately six hours daily and has been on a very strict on diet regimen with his breakfast including 40 egg whites blended and added with protein powder everyday
