Gorgeous actress bags jackpot offer

Rakul Preet Singh is one of the most sought-after actresses in Tollywood at present. She has already worked with top league actors like NTR, Allu Arjun and Ram Charan. The leggy lass is currently shooting for Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film in AR Murugadoss’ direction.

Impressed with her acting skills for the ongoing film, Murugadoss is looking to cast Rakul Preet in his next project as well. Going by the latest reports, Rakul Preet has been offered the female lead’s role in Murugadoss’ next film which will have Tamil superstar Vijay in the lead role. Murugadoss and Vijay will start working for the third time after Thupaki and Kaththi once they wrap up their current commitments.

However, it is yet to be known if Rakul has agreed to come on board for the Murugadoss – Vijay film. The Venkatadri Express actress is juggling different projects in Tamil and Telugu which are gearing up for release in the next few months.

Superstar Mahesh Babu has been shooting non-stop from the past few weeks for his upcoming film which is being helmed by AR Murugadoss. It was almost 10 months since the film started rolling and still some considerable portion is left to be shot. Recently, the unit wrapped up a brief schedule in abroad and returned to Chennai to finish few left over scenes.

As the team landed in Chennai twice within a week, many speculations have been making rounds among audience. It was rumoured that the team is reshooting some important scenes as Mahesh was unhappy with the previous Chennai schedule. But, close sources to the unit gunned down the news terming it as absolutely false.

The source revealed that the shooting is going as per schedule and everything is shaping up very well. The title and the first look poster of the film will be unveiled very soon. Rakul Preet Singh is the film’s leading lady.

Talented filmmaker Srinu Vaitla owes a massive hit to Tollywood and he pinned massive hopes on his upcoming release Mister. It features Varuntej in the lead role and the actor too desperately has been waiting to score a massive blockbuster in his career. Mister is touted to be a romantic entertainer and Lavanya Tripathi, Hebah Patel essayed the female leads in the movie.

Due to the delay in couple of songs, the makers got confused about the release date of the film. With the date announced as April 14th, the makers stepped ahead and announced that the film will now hit the screens on April 13th. Now an official announcement has been out that the film will release on April 14th only.

A massive pre-release event has been planned on April 7th which will witness Mega family gracing the event to promote Mister. Mickey J Mayor composed the music and Mister will be the last Telugu film releasing before Baahubali: The Conclusion hits the screens. Produced by Nallamalapu Bujji and Tagore Madhu, Mister has been made on a massive budget of Rs 25 crores.

Guru sequel on cards?

Victory Venkatesh took his time and stepped out with his latest outing Guru which released during this summer. The movie has been raking decent figures across the Telugu speaking states though the film has been badly rejected by the US audience. Sudha Kongara Prasad directed the movie which discusses about the struggles and challenges faced by women boxers in the country.

Venky impressed the audience as boxing coach and it was his performance which took the film further. Sudha Kongara has been completely refreshed with the result of the film. It has been heard that she is in plans for the sequel of Guru and this time Rana Daggubati has been chosen to play the title role.

Sudha already narrated the outline to Venky and Suresh Babu however she is yet to get a nod from them. Though it is interesting to see Rana playing the lead, we have to wait and see how Venky and Rana’s characters will be related in the sequel. Sudha will prepare the final draft if she gets a nod from the Daggubatis.
