The audio launch of Pawan Kalyan’s Sardar Gabbar Singh was held in style yesterday night. Megastar Chiranjeevi unveiled the audio amidst scores of fans. The theatrical trailer was also released during the event and the 2 minute 49 seconds trailer glimpses what’s in store for the audience after the film’s release.
 
The lengthy trailer features ample dose of action sequences show casing Pawan Kalyan as an irrelevant cop who locks horns with a ruthless feudal Lord of Ratanpur district. Kajal Aggarwal as princess impresses with her regal looks. Packed with a couple of energetic dialogues and mass dance moves, the trailer makes it clear that the film will be Pawan Kalyan’s one man show from the start till the end. The last shot in which Pawan Kalyan imitates his very own mannerism is the major highlight for the trailer.
 
There are a few shades of Mahesh Babu’s Aagadu and Ravi Teja’s Kick-2 in the film’s genre and the background score from Devi Sri Prasad is mediocre. Nevertheless, this action packed trailer has everything to make it appealing for Pawan fans, but it might be slightly disappointing for others.

While everyone talks about how Ram Charan may have married Upasna because she comes from a rich family, the actor himself revealed at a recent college function that there were no calculations in their relationship.
 
“Nenu Upasna ni elanti caluculations chesi… pedda family aa ani chusi… pelli cheskoledu. Kevalam preminchanu anthe (there were no calculations like whether she’s from a well-to-do family or not when I decided to get married. It was just love),” he said.
 
Constantly, media has targeted the couple and called them names ever since they announced their marriage. Even now, there’s constant buzz about their separation. Here’s hoping that their relationship becomes stronger by the day.

The eternal classic Gundamma Kadha is one of the greatest films ever made in Telugu cinema not just for the storyline and characterizations but for bringing two top most heroes of that age Sr.NTR and ANR in one project. The two actors did the film quite professionally by keeping their personal stardom and fame aside which itself is quite exemplary for many young actors of this generation.
 
During the family drama reign which was rejuvenated with Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, the ace producer Dil Raju expressed his wish of making Gundamma Kadha again with current day heroes. The Young Tiger Jr NTR and Naga Chaitanya who belong to the Nandamuri and Akkineni families respectively were the first hand choices. But somehow the project couldn’t move further.
 
But now, during the promotions of his latest film Oopiri, the handsome hero Nagarjuna heaped praises on the Young Tiger. He said that most of the heroes  in Tollywood reach superstardom after they cross 30s but Jr.NTR could reach the top league even before he was 30 years old. Apparently, Nag always quotes the example of Jr NTR to his sons who are also in acting arena.
 
Nag also said that he would be pleased to see Jr NTR act with his elder son Naga Chaitanya in Gundamma Kadha remake. With the ongoing trend of family dramas which was sustained by Soggade Chinni Nayana as well, Nag himself might produce this project!

It won’t be an exaggeration to say that Prabhas attained global stardom post Baahubali success. He is currently busy shooting for the much awaited sequel which will hit the screens in Summer next year. In the meantime, speculations about his next project have already become center of attraction in the media and the industry circles.
 
He will team up with young filmmaker Sujith of Run Raja Run fame for his next project. UV Creations, who debuted with Mirchi, will bankroll the project. The formal launch will take place in the month of August. It is learnt that Prabhas after completing major portion of his shoot for Baahubali will start working on Sujith’s project.
 
Reportedly, the production house is contemplating to make this film a trilingual and cash in on the craze acquired by Prabhas in other territories after Baahubali success. It is believed that Prabhas will simultaneously shoot for this film along with Baahubali. If everything goes as planned, this film will hit the screens in July/August next year. The pre production work for this project has already commenced and the entire cast and crew will be announced very soon.

Nagarjuna and Karthi’s ‘Oopiri’ is getting ready for a release on March 25th and the film has completed its censor formalities. The movie has been given a clean ‘U’ by the Censor board, with zero cuts.
 
The news was announced by the film’s PR team. ‘Oopiri’ is a Telugu Tamil bilingual and the film has been produced by PVP Cinema. Made with a whopping budget, the film must do extremely well for it to break even.
 
Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, the film is a remake of the French classic, ‘The Intouchables’. Tamannah is playing an important role in the movie.

It is already a known fact that Mythri Movie Makers are currently making a film with NTR and Koratala Shiva, titled ‘Jantha Garage’. This big budget movie is their second venture and they have produced Srimanthudu as their first one.
 
The production house was supposed to work with Pawan Kalyan for the third film but things didn’t work out for various reasons due to Pawan’s commitments. They are now scouting for their third film and apparently, something seems to be working out with hero Nani.
 
If the latest reports are to be beileved, Nani is also keen on working with these producers as they tend to invest big amounts of money into their films. It would give Nani the much needed larger than life canvas. However, things are only in the discussion phase for now.

With only three weeks left for the film’s release, the makers of Pawan Kalyan’s Sardar Gabbar Singh are ensuring that the post production formalities will be wrapped up in time. It is believed that they have deployed special teams to oversee the production activities. The talkie part has already been completed and the intro song is being canned at present.
 
According to the fresh update, Pawan Kalyan has started dubbing for his role. It is learnt that Pawan Kalyan will complete major part of dubbing before he leaves for the final schedule in the next week. The audio launch will take place on the 20th of this month in Hyderabad. The buzz surrounding this much awaited film is mounting as each day is passing on.
 
Bobby of Power fame is the director and Pawan Kalyan’s close aide Sharrat Marar is producing the film in association with Eros International.

Superstar Mahesh Babu is a jovial and friendly man. He is accessible to his staff and friends and is rarely seen in a serious mood. But when it comes to his films and their release dates, he takes things very seriously.
 
We have already reported that the shooting of ‘Brahmotsavam’ has been going on at a slow pace. The film was supposed to come in early summer but it has now been pushed to the first week of May. We have reliably learnt that even this date will be missed.
 
According to the estimate given by the direction team, the movie may head to end May. But Mahesh Babu is having none of it. He apparently gave an ultimatum to the production and direction teams to complete the film and release before the end of the second week.
 
Schools and colleges open by the first week of June and if the film releases in end May, it will be missing out on the summer holidays advantage. That is why Mahesh Babu is very particular about releasing the film by the 20th.
 
Srikanth Addala is the director of this movie and PVP Cinema is the banner. Let us see if they can fulfill Mahesh’s wishes and get the movie out on time.

Star Comedian turned hero Sunil is investing all his time, energy and space to improve his box-office stamina. Even though his recent flick Krishnashtami failed miserably at the box office, Sunil is gearing up to start his new film.
 
Interestingly, this film is titled after Rajamouli’s popular nick name in the industry Jakkanna. This film is being directed by Vamsi Akella of Raksha movie fame. The makers are going to officially announce the title shortly along with the details of the rest of the cast and crew. Besides this film, Sunil also pipelined Eedu Gold Ehe under the direction of Ragada fame Veeru Potla.
 
Interestingly, Sunil rose to stardom as a hero with Rajamouli’s Maryada Ramanna and now co-incidentally he resorts to Rajamouli’s name to hit the purple patch. Wishing him good luck!
