Sarileru Neekevvaru Review: Witness Never Before…. Ever After Mahesh Babu on Big Screen
Cast: Mahesh Babu, Rashmika, Prakash Raj, Rajendra Prasad, Vijayashanti, etc
Director: Anil Ravipudi
Producer: Anil Sunkara, Dil Raju, Mahesh Babu
Music: DSP
Mahesh Babu and Anil Ravipudi teamed up together for the first time for Sarileru Neekevvaru. Right from the announcement, the film has successfully gained momentum with respect to the glory and image due to its casting and eventually the trailer. Now let us see how entertaining and engaging is Sarileru Neekevvaru.
Story:
Ajay (Mahesh Babu) is a sincere military officer. His colleague (Satyadev) gets hurt in a military operation and lands in hospital. Knowing that his sister’s marriage is on cards, Ajay comes to Kurnool to support colleague’s family. He happens to meet Ajay’s mother Bharati (Vijayashanthi) there and finds she is in trouble from a local politician (Prakash Raj).
The rest of the movie is how he saves Bharathi and what are the incidents he faces during his stay in Kurnool. The film also depicts Mahesh’s journey from Kashmir to Kurnool during which he meets his love Samskruthi (Rashmika). This is the main plot where all the other characters stand as peripherals.
Performances:
Mahesh Babu, who is known for his hilarious dialogue delivery, has portrayed something new this time. Vijayashanti is good in her dignified character role. Needless to say about Prakash Raj. Rashmika brings some laughs.
Technical Aspects:
Music by DSP leaves the audience in whistles especially for Mind Block and Dang Dang. But Cinematography is good. Production values are too good.
Plus Points:
· Mahesh Babu’s never before acting & dance moves
· Interval bang
· Casting
· Simple Story
· Music & BGM
Minus Points:
· Unnatural comedy during train scene
· Weak climax
Conclusion:
On the whole, Sarileru Neekevvaru is a celebration of the Mahesh Babu from the past. Take a bow Mahesh Garu and Anil Ravipudi Garu.
